I have no drawbacks on this toy.Surprisingly, in one year, we have not had to change the batteries.It does everything that a little one's heart desires. Eyes light up bright, he growls, shakes, roars, & moves as it should. My three year old Grandson threw everything else to the side, to get at this toy, for his Birthday.He has tried his best & absolutely beaten the daylights out of it too & theres absolutely no evidence of rough play. Still as good as day one. We all are very pleased & feel this is a great value.I buy many Imaginext toys for him, particularly for the durability. Great brand! 👍

Easy to assemble and very fun toy for my almost 4 year old. He was very excited to earn this as his big reward for potty training. We’ve had this Dino for 8 months and it’s almost as good as new with a few wear and tear dings. My son plays with it every day. It has been through travel on road trips, been to family’s houses, raced down the driveway, and lots of boy play. We just changed the batteries a few weeks ago. The noises it makes are not annoying to us and his 6 month old sister sleeps through it. Just be aware the size of this dinosaur is a commitment—it’s very large!

Purchased as Christmas gift. Large so takes up a lot of room but my son got it when he was 4 and he’s still playing with it at 7. Great quality

My 3 y/o granddaughter loves this toy and always plays with it. The roar and walking sound are very cool. It's an all around good and fun toy. Also quite large, so more fun. Great size to scale for other 3" action figure toys, that the dino can attack and chew on.The tail broke when putting together - someone did it for me so I have no idea what they did or broke inside so it wouldn't attach. I glued it back together with j/b weld on the inside and gorilla glue and it seems to be doing the job.

My 3 ur old son loves dinosaurs especially the T-Rex. But after couple days on maybe like 4 days later , the eyes don’t light up and the vibrations don’t work anymore. Is this a common thing for this type of toy? Idk maybe I should’ve gotten a different toy instead . But so far he loves it. Even my 7 yr old son loves it.

My 2 year old nephew loved it and now sleeps with it. The dogs hate it, but it’s totally worth it. Great quality, easy assembly (zero), super fun toy to play with!
