How Hippo Says Hello! (Little Traveler Series) Board book – February 4, 2014

We love this entire series of books. My son likes to hear them read to him and asks for them by the animal featured. It has also helped us with these words/phrases. The Hindi ones have, honestly, helped me the most at work as I have team-members based in India. It's amazing how far a simple "Thank you" in a native language helps.

LOVE the little traveler series... it has definitely become my favorite! Abigail does a great job with the storyline, characters and the illustrations are awesome! I read this book and the gator says goodbye book to my little guy almost every day. We have already ordered her next two! Can't wait for those!

A MUST. greattttt colors and fun topic. Love books with pictures of places around the world and even better this book helps kids(and adults) learn how to say hello in those countries. Also make sure to get How Gator says Good-Bye.

This is one of my favorite children's books. I think it is so clever and the drawing are so beautiful. I recommend this to anyone with kids. You can't go wrong for either boys or girls.

These books are delightful and fun. We're learning animals, culture, geography and languages. What a great idea!

Wonderful book for learning different languages and countries of the world. My toddler can say all the words for hello and I’m so proud of him! I also love the map at the end of the book that shows where the different countries are.

Having been raised in a multi-cultural home, it's a pleasure to encounter a writer who brings the possibility of other worlds, other cultures to the reading public under a certain age. Children love to learn how to say "Bye bye!" and are naturally curious about the world. Learning there is more to language than just their own, and learning about fascinating places elsewhere stimulates imagination and gets the travel conversation going with these bright young readers. I thoroughly enjoy reading this volume aloud to the youngers and they love learning about the world around them. Bring it on your next travel with the kids.
