#1 out of four I tested
There are many variations of Bully Stick (BS) holders, and I couldn't decide between four of them that are all pretty similar. So, I decided to buy all four and try them out. Full disclosure, my testing was done only with 7" BS's, which naturally vary in diameter. All four holders are pretty good, but there are some differences worth considering. This is how I ranked them.#1 (GoSports [Red] - 5 stars): The best of the bunch. Due to the narrow oval shape of the opening, it's very easy to load the BS and get it aligned with the clamp, regardless of the diameter of the BS. The handle for the clamp is very large and easy to get a good grip to twist it down tight. The tip of the clamp has a flat surface, which makes it easy to get a good hold on the BS without having to align on the BS groove. The clamp also does not loosen or back-off once tightened. This all allows for minimal BS waste. The plastic material is very tough and holds up to gnawing that can happen after the BS is chewed down to the nub. It's a good size for my 65 lb. Lab to hold down with her paws when chewing the BS.Update - 6/18/24: I continue to be very happy with this BS holder, but a few times the BS was too small to clamp and hold it. What I found works well in this situation is to just put two of the small BS's in the holder at the same time and clamp them both down. This has worked well for the few times this happened, and my dog was very happy to get a little extra chew time. ;-)#2 (ChewEasy [Light blue] - 4 stars): Similar to #1, and works well, but what I like less about it is that the round vs oval opening makes it not quite as easy as #1 to get the BS aligned with the clamp. Although, this might be preferrable if the BS's you buy are really large in diameter. The clamp handle is smaller, so not quite as easy to tighten down as #1. With the ends of the holder being smaller, they're also easier to gnaw on by the dog.#3 (BoniVet [Green] - 3 stars): This one has the advantage of being able to screw the tip of the clamp all the way through the other side of the holder, which does allow for a tight clamp. However, I found I didn't really like the pointy clamp tips as much as the flat ones (like #1 and #2). With the pointy tips, you have to get it aligned with the groove of the BS to get a good hold, and that is not always easy with smaller diameter BS's. The other thing I didn't like about this one is that even after the clamp was tightened, it sort of loosened on its own. The narrow plastic parts around the holder opening also seem susceptible to gnawing damage, although I haven't used it enough to say if it's a real problem.#4 (Bow Wow Labs [Dark blue] - 3 stars): This was actually the first style I bought, but there was enough I didn't like about it, that it caused me to look at the others. As mentioned with #3, I don't care for the pointy clamp tip. The round opening versus oval is less desirable for small BS's but may be needed for larger ones. The clamp itself does not screw in far enough to completely close the gap, so some of the smaller diameter BS could not be tightly clamped down, and my dog was able to get them out and swallow the BS nub. This probably only happened <5% of the time, but it sort of defeats the purpose of the holder. Also, the clamp can only be adjusted with your fingers, not your whole hand, so it's a little harder to tighten and loosen than the others. The edges on the ends of the holder are hard, but easy to gnaw on. So, this model is probably OK for really large BS's, but I found it less useful for the smaller ones.

Great product.
Have used this for months now and it works great! Once in a while you have to cut the bottom of the bone to fit it in to tighten. Keeps the bully sticks off the floor so there is no mess at all. After the bone is gone we throw it in the dishwasher and it’s ready to go.

Great product!
My dogs are able to chew on their antlers much better now. I got the smallest one, which is super small (I recommend the medium one) but can stick the skinny tips of antlers into it. I have one dog with a bad front paw so he hasn’t been able to grasp his chews/antlers well but this fixes that! And my other two dogs use it equally as much.

Great peace of mind!
Love that this gives me peace of mind. I have a large dog who has large sticks, so I had to choose the smaller end of the stick to make a larger stick fit. Either way, this purchase was worth it and now I don’t have to worry at the end!

This is the BEST bully stick holder!
This is the third type of bully stick holder that I have purchased now. My previous holders would fail to hold the bully stick all of the time. These always hold the bully stick. I give the bully sticks to my two greyhounds when I leave to go somewhere. It is a relief to come home and find the end of the bully stick still in place in the holder. I don't have to worry anymore when I leave. I definitely recommend this product!

6 month review- highly recommend
I spent weeks debating what bully stick holder to buy and read a ton of reviews before purchasing this over 6 months ago for my now 1 yr old 16 lb ball of bouncing mini-doodle floof.I put her collagen sticks in it & she absolutely loves it.She pulled one out once but that was my fault for not tightening it down more on that particular stick since it was a smaller diameter on the ends.It has been tossed around, dropped, stepped on, thrown, etc and looks none the worse for wear. Pretty sure I could drive a truck over it and nobody could tell by looking at it. I love how soft yet solid it feels & my puppy loves how easy it makes holding the stick to chew.I would recommend this to anyone.

Holder
This is my opinion on this bully stick holder....It holds large size sticks which is a plus...the down side is it's slippery so my dogs really have a hard time holding it in place. It's so heavy if a dog or puppy tosses this around as my puppy did will break a window.....just warning you it's supper heavy!I own the other brand which is more pricey it's orange bow wow brand and it's $34....I like it more. It's easier for my dogs to hold and it doesn't weight as much as a cinder block. I bought it before the newer version is now available which I have read having problems holding the stick in place....which I bought older version....I don't have that problem!I breed Labradors and have 5 dogs so they are my testers......Don't buy it unless you defiently want it. I used one and the other ones I didn't use are not returnable...well none are returnable wish i knew that! I hate this product they weigh a ton and actually dangerous if gets toss...break a window or table even a TV...

Dog tested and approved!
These are excellent for standard sized bully sticks. It’s a little heavy for my heeler mix (~32lbs) but she manages. Doesn’t fit the braided bullys.Super durable and a great value! My suggestion to the manufacturer would be a longer threaded area or larger holding area to fit larger chews.
