This is an absolutely beautiful piece of garden art! I wanted an ornamental wind-spinner to hang on my back deck, to pretty it up. (And to be pretty even in the winter, when there are no more flowers). I was absolutely delighted with this choice! The colors are gorgeous and the effects when the sun shines on it are amazing! It casts colorful reflections on the wooden beams around it. I followed the instructions and polished it with car wax before hanging, to protect it from rain and weather and prolong its life. This made it even more shiny! :) Not a complaint, but a piece of advice - Be aware that in bright sunshine, it produces very bright reflections that can cause distracting flashes of bright light. I love it, but my husband, who works from home, found it too distracting while working in his office. The bright flashes of light were shining through the window of the deck onto the white wall of his office. As the wind spinner spun, the flashes would flicker almost like a strobe light! However, once I'd moved it to a new position, where the reflections couldn't shine through the window on to his office wall, he was happy! Now, everyone's happy! I would definitely buy this as a gift for anyone who appreciates pretty ornaments and garden decor.

This thing looks great.....especially when the breeze hits it. Sprayed it with silicone spray cuz I've had a copper colored one for about 10 years that's getting fairly rusty. Oh well, ya can't fight mother nature!

It's a very bright, light spinner. The spin support hardware is excellent and allows for easy spinning in a light breeze. (It's made for spinners.) It arrived with a tube in the interior to prevent damage during shipping. You'll need to carefully bend the tube and remove it. The metal is stamped cut, and has very sharp curved edges, and the tube is tough, so it's a bit of a challenge. Inspect spirals carefully for shipping damage before you do this. I noticed mine was slightly bent, after I remove it. If it's bent, you won't be able to fix it, because it CURVED stamped metal and the edges are sharp. Car waxing as the instructions suggests, is extremely challenging. IT would be better if it had come with a protective coating.

I think this spinner is absolutely gorgeous. I have it hanging on a Shepard’s hook outside and just love it. The sun and the different colors make it just sparkle like crazy. I will probably coat mine with something so it won’t rust, but it is beautiful. Spins like crazy. Love love it.

Update after a few months. Not very stainless after all. Lots of rust evident. Disappointing and not as advertised. Not worth the price paid! Original review: The spinner was packed loosely in a thin box which was damaged in transit. As a result several of the metal blades were bent. I was able to straighten them eventually and get it to work. It is supposed to be stainless steel. If it is it’s a very low grade because a magnet sticks to it. It’s also very light and I had to add time weights inside to keep it from flying all over in light winds. We had one of these previously and it was a lot more substantial. It looks nice though.

This is a Mother's Day gift for my mom, so I haven't seen it action yet, but it is beautiful. I'm positive she will love it. Other reviews are correct - the edges are very sharp. Be careful when handling.
