These stopper lights are a pretty good deal. They are not nearly as bright as some LED brake lights, but if you are simply adding to your visibility, these do a decent job. I got these over a name brand because I liked the size and price. A really good and bright LED brake light could cost you north of $100 easily.So overall, the lights get 3 *** stars, but the value gets 5 **** stars.One thing to note. The lights are somewhat directional. When you mount them, make sure they face the drivers behind or the light will be dim. Even when they are off by about 20 degrees, the intensity of the light drops significantly. If your license plate is angled improperly, then go to a hardware store and get vinyl spacer (washers). Not flat ones, you need to get spacer sized so you can file a small angle off one side. This way you can tip the light up or down a slight bit when mounting.

Four years ago I put one of these on my new bike and it has work great. It requires a few little modifications to mount it, but it is worth it. When I apply the brakes it is bright and really gets the attention of the person behind me. That is just what I want, to be seen on my bike. In most motorcycle/car accidents the person in the car almost always will say "I never saw him". With this system on your bike, at least you will be seen from behind.By the way I bought another to add to the older one.Jeff

Replaced an old GYB brake bar with this newer unit, as the older one was fading and lost some diode lights. It does it's job well, and wired in easily without any need for fuse or relay. OK in daylight, very effective at dusk and dark.

Easiest add-on brake light you've ever installed.Using it on a couple vintage bikes, and the rear brake visibility is now AMAZING!!Best money spent!

I purchased one of these lights with the clear LED's last year and the center lights are now dim when the brake is applied after only a few hundred miles. I have contacted GYB by e-mail twice and they have not returned my e-mails. Very poor customer service.Most motorcycle aftermarket companies are quick to respond and do what they can to fix a problem. They choose to ignore it. I would have a hard time purchasing another product from them.

I bought this item locally after ordering another product off Amazon that didn't arrive as expected. I'm using this as a stand-alone brake light for a cheap project I'm doing and I love it. Plenty bright... I also bought the resistor accessory to make this function as a running light. It could probably be made with parts from radio shack for $1, but the convenience of it is worth the extra couple bucks I paid. I am happy with this light and while I won't advocate its use as a sole brake/running light, I will say that it works great in my application.Note: The LED array is roughly one full inch in depth. It's at least as thick as it is tall, if not more so. I saw this product on a friend's bike so I knew what to expect, but others may not realize this after only viewing the product picture.
