Durable, easy to store
I bought my wife and I a pair of these, to use during high school football games. The ponchos work well to keep us dry. And I like that it's so big that it fits over my backpack that I wear to the away games, which keeps all my stuff dry.The little bag that it comes with is a nice added bonus, and it's not hard to fold/roll it up and stuff it back in.The material is plenty thick enough and doesn't feel cheap. I didn't use the pocket on the front, as it's in a strange place, but everything else works well.

Beautiful and Functional/roomy enough for outdoor work.
This poncho material is soft and silky and durable. It is quite beautiful and works well in light to medium rain, I live in a tropical rain forest. It breathes well, not to steamy for the 80% tropical humidity here. Has a lot of room to move. We will see how it handles the more serious down pours to come this winter!

Great Product
Bought for a trip to Universal and Disney. Amazing kept us from getting wet. It was also long a big enough to fit with out backpacks on. As well as long enough to keep most of our legs dry. Great product and quality. The material was very thick.

Durable and waterproof
Works perfectly and is durable. I like that it rolls up and easily fits back into the carrying sack. I used it for Disneyland when it was raining and stayed dry the whole time

For my go bag
I've been working on a "go bag" or "bug out bag" in case of an emergency. I really like this rain poncho for that purpose. It's light weight, seems pretty strong and durable, and also it is compact in its included carrying bag. I have removed it, and put it back in the bag with no trouble. The pictures show the bill on the hood, tags, size inside carry bag in relation to a hard ice pack for a cooler, the size of the front velcro-close pocket in relation to a hair brush, and the grommets. Those seem to be a nice feature, so you could use it as a light weight tarp in a pinch. The corners with the grommets are not reinforced with hard plastic, but it is a poncho not a true tarp. For what it is, I'm very impressed.

Ok, but does not meet the backpacking "toughness" test
So, I generally like the poncho. It is light, waterproof and folds up easily into the stuff bag. I wore it on the Green Monster during a rainy game in Boston and it did its "poncho" job well. I stayed dry the entire game. For the price, I think it is a good value from that standpoint. However, there are three issues that cause this to NOT be my go-to poncho for backpacking:1. The poncho is advertised as being able to be used as a tarp, but it only has grommets on the four corners. This makes it difficult to use this poncho when backpacking for an emergency shelter. It needs to have grommets also between each corner, so it can be stretched out properly.2. The material is not very durable. I set up a temporary tarp shelter with the poncho. I did not pull it exceedingly tight, but I still got a tear near one of the grommets. Now, it is only about 1" long at this point, but the fact that it tore so easily concerns me. I do not anticipate this poncho having a particularly long life.3. The size is fine, I suppose. But it would be nice if the manufacturer could make the poncho 90" x 60". This may not seem like a big increase, but the extra few inches in each direction would make this much more serviceable.
