The ribbon needs to be wrapped around the tip to avoid scratching baby's head. I do not recommend this brand and will be sending it back.

I got these for my Umbrella Cockatoo to where when I thought he was a girl, lol and he looked absolutely adorable in them! There are so many beautiful shades and colors that come in the pack, the size of the bow and clip are perfect and the clip is perfectly secure so the bow stays in place and doesn't slide around. They are so worth the money spent and I would absolutely recommend them to someone else to buy.

I love the look of these bows! They’re the perfect size for toddlers. I also hot glued “bow centers” to a few of them and made bows for upcoming vacations (see the pictures). They worked perfectly for that! I will say (and I know a few others have as well), I wish the alligator clips had ribbon on the “teeth” part of the bows because they pull delicate hair a little. But they stay in place and serve their purpose well!
