Upgraded horn in 5 mins! Very straight forward and easy to
I ordered the Stebel nautilus horn with this wiring harness to upgrade my stock horn on my 2007 Honda Shadow Spirit VT750C2 and it was such an easy install. You will need some basic knowledge to remove your gas tank in order to hide the wires along the existing wiring harness but if you have basic tools and common sense it’s idiot proof. By far the best upgrade I have done to the bike so far. Horn is much much louder than stock horn. I think the stock horn barely hits 50db and this Stebel nautilus hits 140db at 4in away! Trust me you need this horn to stay noticed on the streets. I have Vance and Hines pipes and ran straight pipe before that and still have had people not hear me and cut me off in traffic. When I honk my old stock clown horn people just laugh or notice nothing. Now with this upgrade, I can’t wait to honk at all the idiot drivers out there and I hope they bring a change of underwear with them on their next outing when they hit the road. The tone is very similar to a train horn I’d say. High tone and low tone together make for that distinctive train horn sound. Just do me a favor and buy the Stebel nautilus horn and this wiring harness. It’s your life behind the bars, wouldn’t you want to be noticed on the road?

Was long enough!
I bought this harness to go with the air horn i wanted to install. The factory horn was damaged in a drop so I figured instead of replacing the stock horn it would be the perfect time to upgrade to a air horn. I ride a '09 Kaw Ninja 650r. I drilled a hole through the left side of the fairing literally right behind the headlamp and secured it with a large bolt several washers and a nut. It sits firmly in place and the sound echos. I scared myself when it did a sound check, lol. I also purchased the universal plug and play wiring harness which made the hook up even easier. The horn comes with a relay but you will have to buy wiring for a fuse, which I didn't want to do. The wiring plugs right into my factory wires, and has its own relay and fuse, so that I can still use my horn button so there was no need to install a separate button. The instructions that come with the horn are trash but the instructions that came with the harness are best to follow. There is no instruction on where to mount the horn so finding a place to put it will be entirely up to you. I chose to put it behind my headlamp under the fairing to shield it from the elements and it's closer to the factory wires. The wiring harness wires were long enough so I was able to zip tie the relay and fuse under my seat.

1) If you own a Tacoma like mine, the horn is on the opposite side ...
I bought this wiring harness to simplify an installation of an "air horn" on my 1999 Toyota Tacoma Extended Cab.The packaging lists that it contains 18 feet of #14 and #18 wire. I figured before purchasing, and it's important to note, that 18 feet is the combined total of wire lengths. I should have measured them before I installed them so I could specify them here.I am writing this review for two other reasons:1) If you own a Tacoma like mine, the horn is on the opposite side of the engine space from the battery. The wire in this kit weren't long enough to reach all the way over. After making modifications, I had to cross the wire in front of the radiator since the shortest distance would cross over the fan and belts. I stripped the wires down and did an amateur job of splicing them together to useful lengths, but I'm still going to buy new wires in the future and set the rig up right. Should have just bought the raw materials in the first place.2) My kit was missing the one-wire adapter and quick-splice connectors. Not having the one-wire adapter is part of what made the whole event an ordeal, but it only added about twenty minutes onto the three hour settup that should have taken 30-45 minutes. It's my own fault that I tried to install it at 24 degrees F.

Done in 15 minutes - on a 2007 Ford F150!
I use the Steubel Nautilus compact air horn on my motorcycles, and had one left over after I traded a bike in. I had left the wiring kit on the bike when I sold it, so I bought this wiring kit to replace it and added the horn to my 2007 Ford F150 truck. It took next to no time to put the Nautilus in the stock Ford horn location and then wire it up with this kit. The wires were long enough to reach, no problem. Note that there were items mentioned as included in the instructions that were not int he package, namely a "one wire kit" for horns that only use one wire instead of two, and two additional wire splice connectors. I did not mark the item down for these not being included as they are never mentioned in the item description, and I didn't need them anyway. The seller should probably update the documentation to delete mention of those items.

This is a must for wiring most air horns to ...
This is a must for wiring most air horns to the motorcycle frame and battery; the horn packages usually don't include enough (if any at all) wire lengths to mount the horn and wire it to the battery, and (in my case), existing horn button. This comes with a hefty 40 Amp relay which is needed to wire the existing horn button and use it to operate a low current relay coil that switches full battery power to the air horn's compressor. I did have to add some short sections of my own wire due to the distance between my air horn mounting point (just forward of the OEM "beeper" horn), and my battery, but this harness should be long enough if you mounted the air horn at a higher point on your frame. Appropriate diameter wire and connections for my VTX 1800 and the air horn.

Works well, but did not come with adapters
Did not come with the one wire adapter or quick splice connectors. I bought this for the convenience, even though it is relatively expensive compared to buying all the parts and making this setup yourself. Kind of inconvenient to be missing parts. The wolo air horn I bought works much better with this installed. It's more responsive and louder. Also before I installed this relay when I locked my car the air horn didn't beep, instead you could hear a slight puff of air from the compressor turning on the slightest bit. Now with the relay it makes a quiet but noticeable beep which is nice.
