I’ve made this soup 5 times. The first time for my dad who purchased from amozon. I followed the easy recipe and it came out restaurant quality!I used only 2 large diced potatoes. I added 3 cut up chicken thighs. I used 3 teaspoons of onion powder, 3 teaspoons of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of salt and I like course black pepper, so 2 teaspoons for me. No extra corn was used. I boil the white potatoes until tender before I add to the soup.I added one 8 ounce cup of water and let cook in crockpot on high for about 4 hours. Stirring so soup doesn’t stick.If you like a thinner consistency, use more water. We prefer a thicker consistency so just use more water.Follow directions on back label of soup packet and doctor up as to your liking.We give this soup a 10!

Buy this soup or any soup from Anderson (fka Frontier soup). The quality is excellent, the flavor superb and the price is so reasonable! The corn chowder is our family favorite and we often add chicken to make it a meal. All their soup is excellent and we make one of their soups every week. The corn chowder is even better in the fall when you can add fresh corn on the cob.

Really good soup. You can customize it anyway you want also. All their soups are good, we like this one best.
