These are very cute. Easy to use. Great value for money

Not just for nurses. It is a great help in doing a neurological exam on a toddler to have they look at and reach for something that is more interesting than a penlight or otoscope. I bought a package of these and gave them to my residents (in fact, several packages).

I really like this set and use them often as a pediatric nurse. My only downside is some of them make awful screeching noises that I’ve had to unscrew the back so I can cut the sound wire. Luckily the light still works perfectly fine and I’m not scaring anyone with the noise!

I work on a pediatric unit and these are a huge hit! Many of the staff use them. It’s a great distraction to help get blood pressures on the little ones and/or help calm them. I tested out the giraffe on different age groups after reading some of the reviews and can agree that it definitely scares the babies and toddlers. lol. It’s a huge hit with the older kids though because they think it’s hilarious.

I was looking for a cute flashlight for when I’m rounding on pediatric patients. These make tweeting and beeping noises. I wish I was aware ahead of time. I don’t think the sounds are appropriate in certain situations such as checking eyes on a child with an anoxic brain injury.

The kids love them. Has mad it easy to be able to shine a light with the young patients I work with.

My boss told me that the growling sloth is my spirit animal! I did find it easy to deactivate, by stabbing a blunt tip needle into the speaker hole. 😄 They *are* pretty bright.

the key chains themselves are light weight and cute but there’s no description that they make noises so when they arrived I was very disappointed to find out because I’m a night shift nurse and these noises are definitely going to wake up my patients. Also the light flickers with the noise which is kinda annoying. Very disappointed, I honestly wouldn’t recommend it to any floor nurse even if you work days your patient could be sleeping and these noises are definitely loud enough to wake someone up and they’re very strange low quality imitations of animal noises they’re not even good noises

Wish they would have advertised the sound more … does anyone know if there is a way I can stop the sound
