I bought this a few days ago and got to use it just now on my daughter who is 8 with autism. She was upset and we used the kit to help calm her down, she loved it! She liked looking at the cards and doing the activities listed, and I could tell even after doing the first one, she felt better and calmer. I am going to buy one of these to give to her teacher at school and recommend these little kits for everyone! I love how portable they are too so you could keep one in the house and one in the car and the price is very very reasonable!

This ten piece kit includes 6 double sided strategy cards, a spinning strategy wheel, a blue stretchy noodle, a Velcro sensory strip, and feelings stickers. For around $5 this kit is great for after school activity or children’s programs that don’t have a dedicated calm-down space or for teachers exploring a calm-down space. The cards are like playing-card thickness and seem fairy durable, but the spinning strategy wheel is a little flimsy. I would consider adding a small pop-it to this kit, as there is extra room in the box. I would recommend this as a great starter or travel kit!

While the concept, colors, and design of the product are commendable, I was disappointed with the size of the cards. I had anticipated them to be larger, but unfortunately, they turned out to be quite small. This made them appear more susceptible to damage. Ultimately, I decided to return them as the product didn't meet my expectations. It would be beneficial if the product description provided clearer information regarding the size of the cards to avoid any potential misunderstandings.

This is a great little kit, and so inexpensive. Gave us lots of calm down techniques to choose from. I made a calm down box my kids can choose from when they need to. Added a weighted blanket, some vinyl popper things, squishy balls, some Warmies stuffies, a mindfulness breathing owl by rainlax (that is a big hit too), and doodlejamz jelly boards. I put this in there too and a good portion of the time they like to look at the cards and play with the stretchy blue worm thing that comes with it. Also gave us some calm down strategies they can do anywhere and don't need "stuff" for.

Good for traveling.

My son is 7, non conversational and has autism. He doesnt have alot of meltdowns but typically if he does they are related to his OCD. I was looking for help with coping strategies and bought this on a whim because its so cheap. I honestly didnt think this was going to help in any way, but figured what the heck. We looked at it together maybe 2 times in a calm state just to get familiar with it. Then one day he was in the beginnings of a meltdown so i just casually asked "do you want the calm down kit?" and to my surprize, he said YES. So i handed it to him and he opened it up and went straight for the stretchy monkey noodle. Within 5 minutes he was completely calm and ready to move on. That damn noodle has gone on to completely prevent and/or diminish other meltdowns! He will even read the text sometimes. So, just get it, its $5. Youre Welcome.

This is such a great tool that I use at home for my kiddos. Emotions are so intense sometimes it’s great to have resources to navigate the strong emotions together!

Great product my son gets overwhelmed easy and we found this a great tool to use. I like the suggestions and little cards it comes with. The sensory toys are pretty good as well

Love, love, love this little kit! It has a cute little emotions wheel, a big feelings sticker, 2 fidget toys and 6 double sided, laminated cards full of strategies for identifying and managing emotions. We have added it as another tool for the “calm down corner” and all three kids (3.5, 6 & 9) use and love it. If you’re thinking about it - just get it! It’s an absolute steal for the price and a great way of teaching kids about emotions and how to develop a growth mindset. Highly recommend!!

It is compact and good price. Missing one side pf the velcro though

As someone with a neurodivergent teen, descrete is better. Cards inside are helpful, fidget very cheap, but for the price, understandable, great size case, however, the large sticker saying Anxiety Kit is not what my child wants to be seen around with. So although I was hoping to have it kept at school, the stigma that is attached to the packaging is anxiety causing... so it's not used :( Maybe including stickers so kids can decorate over the title of the package would help personalize and hide what's inside or name the product rather than identifying the product would be better...ex. Mindset Reset Kit; Mindful Moments Pack; Ready, Set... Slow. Will add a picture later.

Great resources and ideas to help kids self regulate. Small and portable.
