Syon Auto FITS 2017-2018 MAZDA 3 GLOSSY BLACK HONEYCOMB FRONT GRILL REPLACEMENT W/ EMBLEM

Had to replace my bumper so I figured I would do the grill as well. After watching a YouTube tutorial I saw it would not be hard. All the screw holes and clip holes lined up without issue on my 2017 Mazda 3 Sedan. If I wasn't doing the bumper too, I figure I could have done it in a hour or so. You may want get some extra plastic clips and rivets for the top painted trim and other parts as your likely to break some of them during the removal of the old grill. Worth the money as I think it looks infinitely better than the stock grill.

Nearly perfect fit. When transferring screws over from the OEM grille, there is one hole, roughly halfway up on the left side of the new grille that is a half inch too far out, it's nowhere close to lining up. All other holes line up 100%. This is definitely a plastic grille, not the rubberized plastic that car manufacturers produce. So in that sense this honeycomb grille is a downgrade. I wonder what the long term durability of it will be. It's certainly not worth the $170 price, closer to $100 would be more appropriate. However it does look really good, it's a fantastic aesthetic upgrade. Install, from teardown to reattachment took me about two hours. Take your time, make sure to video, photo, or arrange the screws so that they go back in the proper spots. The easiest way to disconnect your fog light and turn signal couplers is by undoing the corner splash guard in front of the tires, rather than by trying to disconnect them from above.

I viewed an online tutorial on how to install this myself and decided to save myself a headache and took it to my favorite body shop. They installed it for under $150. It fits perfectly and makes the car's appearance newer. Recommend!
