Don’t buy
I needed the menu function to work... but this only controls my volume... I didn’t feel like going through the hassle of returning it so a win for this company and a lost for me

Replaced my $100 remote
The original remote for my old receiver no longer worked for volume and mute, but all other buttons still did. I needed a replacement remote just to control the volume, this new remote worked right out of the box for my Yamaha RX-V1400 receiver - The volume, power, mute, and even the input selection buttons worked which is more than I expected for an $8 replacement for my $120 old remote, only the stereo-type selection (surround, thx, dolby, etc...) buttons did not work, which I did not think it would, could not ask for more, saved a lot of $$, great value.

Power button not working
Everything works fine for yamaha rx v620 except power button

not really sure how to review a remote. lol.. it works great and when you push a button it does what its supposed to do.

Unit not actually compatible (despite Saying it is)
The remote *technically* works, but almost none of the buttons match up to what they're supposed to be. Despite it saying it supports my unit (rx-v663), it doesn't work properly. Dpad up and down control volume, Dpad left and right change the sound stage, none of the scene buttons work, and I haven't been able to get much else about it working beyond those and the power buttons. I'd love to know if I'm doing something wrong (in that case I'll update my review), but until then, I cannot reccomend getting this remote. You'd be better off going to eBay and buying a used remote for your unit.

Does work but may function differently than original remote
I have a HTR-6230. This remote does not function like the original. I have not been able to program the buttons for other TV, DVD player etc. The remotes AMP button does not function like the originals. After buttons are put in the remotes buttons affect it one way. After holding down the AMP button for like 10 seconds and letting go, some of the buttons have a different function. You can go back and forth by holding down the AMP button.Since I bought the receiver used, it works for me. Just wish there was an original remote that could be used like in the manual.
