Listed at a much lower price than many similar products I was skeptical that this product would be of decent quality. To my surprise it is much nicer than I thought. I do not regret my purchase whatsoever, in fact, I actually regret not buying this sooner! My poor feet absolutely SUFFERED through the summer and were positively abused by the time Fall rolled around. I can’t really afford professional pedicures so I do my best to DIY them. As a disabled person with a pain disorder, caring for my feet is a real chore. I often find myself sore and reeling in pain after giving myself a thorough pedicure. This device has taken much of the strain off of me, and I was pleasantly surprise that I did not need to stop to take breaks, or ice myself the next day. The device simply does all of the work for you, and made quick work of my severely dry, callused feet. I can honestly boast better results in about half the time it typically takes me. The foot file itself is quite powerful. I was shocked at how quickly it laid waste to my dry, cracked heels. However, one complaint is that it does not have reverse spin mode. Not having reverse makes certain angles or areas a bit difficult. I noticed at certain times the file would “jump” from my skin, which scared me at first because I thought it could really tear into you if you’re not careful. I was a bit discouraged to see the file “bottom out” at times and shut off on its own when too much pressure was applied. At first I attributed this to a lack of power, but after a solid hour of use I had reached the conclusion that it was only shutting off like that as a safety feature to avoid causing injury. Because of the high quality file heads, applying high amounts of pressure isn’t necessary. You can EASILY achieve great results without a ton of pressure being applied. This was a game changer for me since in the past my wrists would cramp up about halfway through filing. I did notice that the “vacuum” feature hadn’t worked as well as I thought it would, but that didn’t bother me too much as I feel like this would just make it more difficult to keep the device clean and sanitary. As bad as my feet were I expected there to be a decent mess when I was finished so I laid a black trash bag down both to protect the floor and to get a real idea of how effective this item was. The amount of dead skin this device removed was so disgusting, yet satisfying all at once. My feet are soft as a newborn’s now! The battery life is midline, as I noticed the charge visibly decreasing while I used the file, but I don’t think this should be too much of an issue. I used it for an hour or more and it still had over half of it’s charge remaining. So long as you charge after each use this won’t be an issue. By the way, I love that this is rechargeable! My previous devices all drained through batteries very quickly, so it’s really nice not to have to keep buying those. The accessories (foot rasp, files, callus remover etc,) aren’t of the best quality, but they are certainly better than what I’ve been getting from the Dollar Store. At this price point I can’t complain. They are an added bonus to what I would have happily paid just for the electronic file by itself. I noticed a few reviews which stated their device did not come with everything that was pictured, I thought at first this had happened to me as well, but after some investigation I found all of the extra accessories were underneath the plastic mold in the box. My guess is that most people never thought to look there, I know I didn’t and was actually on my way to request an exchange when I learned of my mistake. With just the plastic packaging inside the box felt empty, so I had no idea those items were underneath. Be sure to check there for your bonus items BEFORE you throw the box away or try to get a refund. Taking into account the amount of items that accompany the file, and the quality of the file itself this kit is a steal! It isn’t the highest quality out there by any means, but its value FAR surpasses the price of this item. In fact, I think I’ll be giving out a few of these as Christmas Gifts. I’ll mention again that I’ve had quite a few of these, all ranging in price, from Dollar Stores, Walmart, online shopping and more…but this one was of a much higher quality than any of the others I’ve purchased, and that includes the ones I paid MUCH more for. In fact, just prior to purchasing this one, I had to throw away a file that I paid nearly the same amount for because it just completely died after only a handful of uses. That one was difficult to use, I had a hard time changing the file heads, and it was so cheaply made I was genuinely afraid the plastic would crack if I dropped it. On the topic of changing the file heads, I didn’t see it pictured, but this kit actually comes with a little bonus device to remove them. The file heads are very secure and I could not change it by hand. I thought at first I had an extra packaging piece or that there was a piece from a different item accidentally put into the box. It took me a while to figure out that little piece of plastic was intentional and actually makes popping off the file heads a breeze! Well I think I’ve said far more than is required here. In summation - if you’re looking for something both high quality and affordable, this item is an excellent choice. I highly recommend. If you are looking for something top quality or for professional use, I suggest you consider something more expensive. But if, like me, you don’t want to spend a ton of money, and still want a good to great quality item then this is a purchase you will not regret! This electronic foot file kit earned a solid 8 out of 10 for me. Recommend.

This unit works great to remove rough skin or calluses. It's gentle and just takes off a little skin with each use. Repeated use will get you smooth, even skin.

I purchased mine almost 4 years ago. It is only now starting to slowly die. I have used mine every week, at least 1-3 times with more during the winter. The battery has started to drain quickly now and I’m looking to get a new one of the same kind. It has been used so much and can make my feet go from dry, rough, with deep cracks in my heels and calluses to soft and smooth within 1-2 uses. It has never caused any pain or discomfort. The foot buffer is easy to charge, change discs and clean. I love all of the extras it comes with. The only thing I would want differently is if it came with a travel case. I take mine with me during any travel and it always helps take my tired rough feet and renews them each time. (Also, I would love it if they changed the power cable to a regular USB/USB-C as I had misplaced the cord more than once and getting a replacement isn’t easy.)

I bought this 7 months ago to replace a roller-style callus remover. In the first use, it removed more of the super-hard calluses on my feet than the roller-style one did over the entire time I owned it. It's done a great job keeping my calluses in check since then, using it once every 1-2 weeks or so. I'd still be using it except the last time I tried, the motor died on me. My calluses are approximately as hard as granite though, so it could have just been pushed past its limits. Given how cheap it was, I definitely got my money's worth out of it, but it's a shame to be tossing it in the trash after such a short time. The good: Does a great job of grinding down my calluses. My feet haven't been this soft since I was a baby. The run time of the batteries is pretty good, but nowhere near the advertised 2 hours; I got maybe 45 minutes, which was usually long enough to get both of my feet done in one session; that was using the faster speed, so maybe with the slower speed you could get an hour. The grinding disks also lasted surprisingly long: I used just one the whole time, and it was still working when the motor died. The not so good: The battery meter is a lie: the unit shuts off at the 50% mark every single time. The charging cable is kind of annoying to get seated right, and likes to fall out. An actual USB port (type-C! micro-USB needs to be relegated to the trash heap of history) for charging would be an improvement here. I'm on the fence about the "vacuum" feature having any real value: it sort-of works, in that you get less dead skin on the floor, but it doesn't collect everything, and you now have to clean out the tool in addition to the floor. The "smart security lock" might be nice for people with small kids around, but for the rest of us, it's just an annoyance. The pressure sensor also seems a bit too sensitive, but in the grand scheme of things, being too cautious about safety is much better than disregarding it.
