These are much better than the ordinary Chinese nail clippers. They cut with a definite snap and do a better job of keeping the clippings from flying.

These are so good. Longevity TBD, but the form factor, clipping action, and smooth edges with this set of clippers is amazing. This is best for fingers and small nail cuts, though it can work for toenails if needed.

I lost my 25-year-old KAI clipper during a house move and that one was still clipping like new. This one feels the same, although some cost compromise had to be made with the plastic top lever. But the clipping performance remained, no flex whatsoever of the cutting edge while in use. This is a basic model.
