I bought this product to replace the screening material used to make the harness that protects the driver and passengers on my 2017 CanAm defender utv. This material is extremely tough and will stop projectiles thrown up by the front wheels and limbs from trees and bushes coming in the door opening and injuring passengers. I should have done this long ago.

GREAT !!!need to put back straps on a giant WWII duffle bag from rothco and i"ll use some of this material for a back panel support before i sew on with fishing line ... and i have plenty of material left over to patch any holes in the bag ... for reviewers of survival gear on youtube it can be used as a table cloth but it's too small to use as tarp, beach mat or picnic ground cloth ... can also hand it to your local tailor and ask what you want ...

I was pleased with how quickly this came even though there were delays. The material is very nice and its close to what I was expecting. Although, I'm fairly new to working with these materials and dont have much to reference other than materials on bags and equipment that I already have. I guess I expected 1000d to be thicker, but I did get a pretty good idea of what to expect from the reviews. Maybe it is 1000d, Maybe its 600d. I wouldn't know since I have nothing to compare it to. But it is pretty thin to me.Perhaps what I really wanted was ballistic nylon. I wanted to make heavy duty mil-style bags and packs and gear with it. This works great for small items, but its much thinner and has less "woven" definition than I was looking for. It is however very water resistant and tough for the weight.But, there were a couple of key things to note. First, the material clearly states that it is 60" wide and by the yard. I received a piece 40" wide and over the 2 yards I ordered. It came out to more sq/ft then what I ordered, so that was nice. However, If you needed a 60" roll and got this i think you'd be upset. Second, There was discoloration marks on one small section of the material rendering it unusable. Again, not a big deal for me since I needed practice pieces anyways.Overall I paid about $16-17 for 2 yards, and I have no idea if that is a good price for this material or not. But to me that was a good value. It allows me to practice and make smaller, lighter weight items and mix them with thicker materials later on.UPDATE:So I also ordered 1000D material (Cordura) from another reputable source, and what I have from this company is definitely NOT 1000D. The Cordura has a much more defined weave and is noticeably thicker. It's still a very nice, and strong material and you can't beat the price for what you get. But if you want real 1000D, get Cordura.

This is absolutely not 1000D Nylon Cordura, had a customer request some custom work and I did not have the time to get from my normal supplier so I purchased this.First off the color is a bright hunter green not even close to being "ranger", and the backside is not coated like standard 1000D its a PVC or some type of rubber that when ran through a laser cutter produced an awful smell, smoke, and charred edges.Had to inform the customer he had to wait more than he already had as it took longer than expected to arrive (shipped by seller not FBA) and now I've had to go source Cordura from a better supplier.Not only am I disappointed, it has disappointed a customer and resulted in a extra week backlog.Overall This is more of a canopy material than what is advertised.Also it appears that the colors change from batch to batch as some of the photos on here look nothing like what I received (differences in lighting being noted).

The media could not be loaded. The material is Good but the dimension descriptions read it is 60 inches by the yard. I didn't know that Meant so I read on and it says 60 inches by 60 inches. As You can see In the video and the photo it is neither it is 59 inches by 42 inches. I thought you would want to know, I'm sure it's just a mistake.thank you very much

I ordered this and some velcro, and had a local sew shop make a pouch for a piece of 1" neoprene foam to ride on the back of my ALICE ruck (I have too many rucks by far!) I wanted to be able to mess with the positioning of the foam, so I had hook on this pouch and loop on my ruck-allowing me to use the ruck without the foam pad if needed.The color is great, very close to the large ALICE bag. I've got plenty left over and will likely make or have more things made from it!

Second time buyer. Ships very fast and arrives before projected date. I use it for making set covers in Retired military vehicles.
