Innovate Motorsports 3735 Exhaust Bung and Plug Kit (Mild Steel)

I bought it for another project... an oil fill bung. I ended up putting a copper washer around it to help seal.I thought it was well made and it definitely feels pretty rugged. It welded just fine migging it and I think it will stand the test of time. I don't know if I feel its worth 8 dollars but it works so I'm not too worried.

The plug is not Allen but it works just as well, doesn't leak. I installed this so I could use a AFR for tuning, after I was happy with the tune I plugged up the bung and called it a day, a little anti-seize and I know that I'll be able to take it out if i need to re-tune.

no issues what so ever with the bung. the person who previously owned my car had some issues with the o2 bung so they decided to weld the o2 sensor directly to the manifold.... except they didnt turn the gas on and it wasn't flux wire. gotta love people... anyways this welded great no issues, good material would recommend and about half the price of the chain stores sell them 4

The plug and the bung have different threads! The bung had the correct threads for an O2 sensor, but the plug cannot plug it (in the absence of an o2 sensor) because it has a different thread pitch. D'Oh!

No real problems but I did not like the fact that they illustrate the plug to use an Allen key for removal but the plugs I received were hex head.

Have not installed this on the street rod yet so can't speak of its sealing ability and ease of use. It appears to be well machined, threads are smooth and the plug screws into the bung easily. There is no gasket between the plug and bung.

Should really change the picture so people actually know what they are getting. You will receive a nice bung and a hex head bolt, not just a hex head bolt but a hex head bolt that doesn't thread into the bung. The only reason I bought this is because the picture shows an allen head bolt. I planned on using this for something other than intended, now it is just sitting in a parts bin because the parts supplied are useless

Not much to say. It's a good mild steel that welded into my exhaust well. Threads are good; no problem installing wideband O2 sensor.

This is the perfect size and same brand I use the one that came with the gauge the bung was double the size

As advertised. No issues with product of shipping. I used this to install a O2 sensor in my 2004 Yamaha exhaust to instal an aftermarket ARF gauge. Used a mig to weld and it worked fine.
