This product was bought three times from the same seller, one late September, one early October, and one late October, for two houses-worth of gutters. The first set was great and was not enough for the first house, so a second set was ordered and the product recommended for the second house, leading to the third box. To the dismay of the family member that installed the screens on both houses, the second and third orders were of lower quality than the first. The price increase on the third box was accepted as part of waiting too long into the season that clogs gutters, but the newer screens were more difficult to install.The initial order had a nicely curved, U-shaped metal edge that easily went over the edge of the gutter, and a nice wide metal section on the opposite side that made placing and drilling the screws, to hold the screen securely, easy.The construction of the screens in the last two boxes, however, was less concerned with the ease of installation. The curved metal edge of the newer screens had more of a V shape, which did not sit nicely over the gutter edges. The opposite, flat metal edge was narrower, making positioning the screws more difficult and more time-consuming.Once installed, the screens seem to do their job well, but the increased difficulty for installation of the later screens was disappointing.From the family member that spent the time installing these screens, the first box deserved 5 stars, but the next two boxes deserved 3 stars.

I was going to give them 4 stars because the shipping department forgot to ship it, but after calling the product was shipped that day - great customer support. I gave it 5 stars because this is a great product - best gutter covers for the price I have seen. They snap in easily giving you a tight fit, and if you have to cut one for length, a good pair of tin snips cuts them evenly. Can't say how much I like them.

I used this product to replace older galvanized guards that had started to rust and had been dinged up by a couple roofing jobs. This one fit my gutters snugly and snapped in without a lot of effort. It is attractive, sturdy, and of course no rust! The reason that I could not give it higher than a "3" on ease of installation was getting it to fit in corners, of which I had 5. The inside corners were built with splash diverters wherever a roof valley fed into the gutter. These diverters were attached in such a way as to lap over the rim into which the u-shaped groove on the gutter guards fit. In order to get the guards to lie flat, I had to cut out a 14" section of the groove in each section of gutter that abutted a splash guard. I used a Dremel tool with a cutting disk but also tried a hack saw. Both worked about equally, but I went through several cutting wheels, so would use the hack saw if I do it again. There were 8 modifications for the 4 inside corners. This wasn't terribly hard, but was a little tedious and required careful measurement. I could have just compressed the gutter guards a bit more in the areas opposite the splash diverters, and it would have been OK functionally. However, this produces a slight (but noticeable) higher arc to the screen in those areas, and I wanted the job to look professional. Despite the unforeseen effort, I would recommend this product. Some cutting will be necessary whatever product is bought due to length adjustment--unless you're really lucky and the lengths of your gutter sections are close to exact multiples of of the length of the guards chosen.

So happy with these. installed easily. seem to work so far... leaves are falling out there as we speak. the price was fantastic. So many others were soooo much more expensive.

I orderd these, since I knew I didn't want to spend a fortune on some fancy gutter guards, and I only needed 150ft. So far, I'm happy with how they installed, and it seems like the friction hold will be enough without me needing to screw the screen into the gutters. That's a huge plus, and I appreciate that the metal is coated in white, so it doesn't stand out from the gutters. The package was shipped direct from the company, so no worries about getting some off brand or Chinese knock offs.

The reason this was rated less than 5 stars is that there was no color given other than aluminum. A raw aluminum finish would have been better than a white painted strip on each side when dealing with a brown gutter. I bought a can of brown spray paint and sprayed the visible edges to eliminate the white on brown contrast. There were no instructions given but I had read many reviews and installed them as required. My house has multiple roof pitches and in some cases these covers worked well by sliding them under the shingles while in other locations they needed to be slightly bowed upward and just set into the gutter. I did zip tie the wire mesh joints together so no air gaps showed between each piece also. These will definately work on leaves and most branches but I have not had them in long enough to see what they do about the oak pollen pods that fall off in the spring. My reason for buying was to eliminate the need to clean out the constant oak leave and dead branch issue that would clog the gutters in the fall. I had to clean them every week for about a 6 week period due to my location in the woods and that wasn't working out. Overall I am satisfied with these and I do not believe there is any cover out there that will do it all.

After 20 years of always having to clean my gutters even after having a professional roofers install gutter guards 5 years ago. I have never been happy with the amount I still had in my gutters I would have to clean. These GS501LC25 screens are just what I needed as they were so easy to install by my self. I had over 300 feet of gutter I installed it took me about two hours to install them. And now after all the leaves are off the trees, I did not find any leaves stuck to the screens and absolutely nothing inside my gutters. Very well worth the very inexpensive price. Just wish I would of found this years ago..
