Fantastic team sport and high action sport binoculars
Compact and slightly heavy as all good roof prism waterproof binoculars are.Appear to be well made. Remind me of vortex optics, but no idea who makes them. Optics are as good or better than you would expect from typical mid priced optics. Grip surface is perfect...not slippery, not gummy. Super wide, low power is perfect for action sports, and doesn't need stabilization. Fully multi coated glass results in bright images. Perfect for carry due to the captive objective, and eyepiece rubber covers. (These little binocs would make great opera glasses also.) I believe for the majority of uses for the average person , this could be the perfect all around binocular...especially at the price point!! I have dozens of optics, many of them stabilized, (which I would recommend as the best option for detailed view binocs), and these are proving to be my go to EDC binocs, on par with good 7 x 35 wide field porro prism binocs.Update The 5 x 25 roof prism binocs are still as good as new, and my favorite EVERY Day Carry binoculars!! I think the other manufacturers are missing out by not offering a similar product! I presume because their resident "bean counters" do not think a low power number will sell enough units. They may,in fact be correct.this is a shame, as this may well be the most useful EDC binocs!

Quality control issues. Minor shortcomings. HUGE field of view outweighs all!
The first pair I received had a couple black specks near the edge of the left eye view internally. The second pair produced ghost images of bright objects (the moon, for instance) in the left eye view. I haven't received the third pair yet but hopefully it's free of defects.I absolutely love the huge field of view these binoculars provide. Combined with the deep depth of focus afforded by the relatively lower magnification, it's an amazing way to view and explore nature.I think I kind of understand, probably, why none of the major binocular brands make a binocular like this, but I also think that it's a dereliction and a travesty that they do not.The eyepieces are very large, and I imagine probably they need to be in order to produce the huge field of view, but it means that the binoculars may not fit your facial geometry in the way other binoculars do, or even maybe outright not really fit you, even if your interpupillary distance is within the range that the binoculars can adjust to. For me, with my fairly but not very narrow interpupillary distance of 59.5mm, and my fairly narrow nose bridge, and whatever the shape of my eye areas is, they are a little bit awkward/different in the way that they rest on my nose and face, but pretty easy to adjust to. I don't have to twist up the eyecups at all to prevent my eyelashes from touching the lenses, so I end up with actually probably close to ideal eye placement. Except that there are larger gaps between my face and the binoculars on the sides that sometimes allow more glare than with my other binoculars. If I don't block it somehow. There is a little bit of a fishbowl effect ("pincushion distortion" I believe) towards the edge of the view, but it is pretty mild, and for me, not really noticable, unless I'm panning pretty quickly.I'm an optics novice, but I do own a Vortex Diamondback 8x42, and I'm happy with the brightness, color, and sharpness of these binoculars. The Diamondbacks are a tiny bit sharper even in the center of the view, I think, and they're basically just as sharp all the way to the edge, whereas with these, stars do get less pinpoint towards the edge. The difference during the day is less clear, and harder to be objective about. That's not to say these binoculars aren't great for stargazing. The huge field of view is great for panning around the sky, and looking at constellations that you can't even really see with the naked eye due to light pollution. Or, I'm sure, taking in the Milky Way, if you're blessed with darker skies. Obviously, these won't replace a 15x70, but for that matter, neither will a 10x50.The huge field of view is also obviously great for theater, sports, concerts, and shows as well. But, in my opinion, by far the most glorious and absolutely perfect use for these is an autumn leaf peeping hike! The bag it comes with is hard to get the binoculars in and out of, especially while being mindful of not pressing the ocular lens covers down on to the wide lenses. And it's not at all padded. The neck strap doesn't adjust quite short enough for my liking to totally minimize bouncing. (While hiking without a backpack chest strap to fasten over the strap!) But really who cares much about any of that when you can use another strap and case. I do wish there were room on the barrels beyond the hinge to wrap a pinky around to maximize the comfort of one-handed use. But nothing in life is perfect! These are amazing binoculars.

Huge field of view, optics decent but not great.
Incredible wide field of view would be great for viewing the Perseid meteor showers.Or on a boat or horseback with constant movement. As the view is so wide it doesn’t wiggle. My Steiner 7x50’s view doesn’t wiggle much either. But they are big and bulky. But these have an even wider field of view than the Steiner’s, but not as sharp of optics. My Vortex 8x32’s are my overall favorite.Wide FOV but 30% less than the Ultra wide ones reviewed here. The Vortex optics are as good as the Steiner’s but brighter. These Ultra Wide View binoculars are excellent overall for only $70

Perfect for outdoor sports viewing
I bought these binoculars based on the description they offered a wide field of vision. Most traditional binoculars have a field of vision of 4 degrees, while this pair boasted almost 16 degrees. It was correct as advertised. I go to live football games and it's great to see the formation from receiver to receiver and watch a play develop. I'm very pleased. Good quality build and great for the price point.

Good product
Good product for Sports, Theater, etc. Wide Angle with a good field of view. 1st delivery had eyecups that were loose - replacement worked well.

Blown away.
5x power with the extreme wide angle is amazing. Huge eyepiece openings. Crystal clear. Startlingly bright. Very robust heavy duty little binoculars. You could kill somebody with these things as a defensive projectile lolll.Update: these are my favorite daytime binos 5x is great nice little niche power. Picture so clear it's almost unreal. Only tiny flaw is they are not great for stargazing. The moon YES but not much else. That getva weird grey pixel pattern at night looking up. Very strange. I don't mind tho. Love, love them anyway.

Unique, well made.
A most unusual Binocular. Yes, the outer field of view is not sharp .... But... This Binocular also has an extremely wide field of view, smooth accurate focusing and very good central sharpness. The view is quite pleasant and immersive as long as you don't need to wear glasses - the eye relief is too short.Robust construction, quite large and heavy for a small aperture binocular. However, the combination of low power ( 5x ) and large frame provides a bright steady view and fits my hands very well.
