Wonderful for tanning, but stains too much

My skin type is dry. After trying a week i will write this review. Oil has running like consistency yellow in colour because of Ayurvedic properties smell not good but worked on my skin like magic. I will use it alternative days. Do 10 minute message and wipe it with cotton after 30 minutes and its done. Skin feels soft looks clean and bright. My Ayurvedic doctor recommended me.

blindly go for this if you are looking to transform your tanned skin. It leaves a yellow tinge due to presence of tumeric so it is best suited for body and if you are not comfortable avoid face. Else it has no side effects, Kottakal brand is best in ayurveda and cost effective.

The three stars are not for the quality of the product but for the effect it had on my skin. I came across this tailam while scrolling instagram. It was a bride to be, getting ready for her big day. She had started using this a few months before her wedding to get some glow. I was impressed and I had nothing to lose because Ayurveda formulations barely have side effects on me. Well, I was wrong. This is a yellowish oil will a funny aroma and I was impressed again, for I thought it would work. It didn't. I used about 8-10 drops of this oil for my entire face and neck, giving it a light massage. I left the oil on my face for 15-20 minutes and then washed it off with a mild face wash. I got a pimple the next day. I tried a few more permutations and combinations with the product, because I was in denial that an all natural oil would work negatively for me. Well it did. I have tried it multiple times and every time I get a pimple afterwards so here are my observations- 1. It is quite exfoliating in nature. So if someone is using topical retinoids, this oil may be too harsh for this skin. 2. If kept on the skin for a longer duration (say an hour), it will burn (minorly) 3. Just because it is all natural, it wouldn't work for everyone. 4. There is turmeric in it, which will stain the clothes, so careful with it. I wish it worked on my face, but it doesn't. Since I have the entire bottle left, I will try to used it instead of those exfoliating chemical peels for the legs. Hope the review helps.

Let's see how it works, so far no wrong effects atleast

I hadn't even opened the oil for about four months as i didn't have time to use it . Kept it in a clean and dry place. Now when I saw there is fungus all inside the bottles. I bought two. There is still 3 years time for expiry of the product. Mfg date 2025 ,Exp date 2028.

A good product, especially for dry and dull skin. It helps in brightening the face when used consistently. The only drawback is that it leaves a slight yellow stain.

One product is missing

Very oily.
