This Brand 320GB Hard Disk Drive/HDD for Toshiba Satellite A105-S1712 A105-S2231 worked perfectly in my laptop. It was easy to install -need very small screwdriver to take back off laptop.

Replaced the corrupted factory hard drive with this one and installed Windows 7. No problems and still running strong almost a year later.
