I’m a nail tech, not some DIYer. Kads makes one of my favorite shapes of acrylic nail brushes. The belly is thick and full, the hairs are long, and the tip is narrow for being crimped. They aren’t all that wide either which makes them easier to use even in the larger sizes. The larger ones will pick up a lot of liquid, and the smaller ones pick a lot of liquid to others their size comparatively because of how long they are.Soak the hairs in monomer for 20 mins after using them each time and put cuticle oil on the hairs after each use. They’ll last a long time. Soaking gets rid of the acrylic that you can’t see, and the oil conditions the hairs much like it does for your skin and hair.Please use alcohol or brush soap to remove the glue that comes in the hairs before the first use. So many reviews of brushes on Amazon are from people who don’t know how to make a good acrylic bead or don’t know how to clean their brushes so they mess them up. In reality most of the brushes on Amazon are decent but bad reviews are left from newbies or people who think they know what they’re doing. Most likely they don’t.None of my cheap or expensive brushes have been ruined because I know how to take care of them! That includes any purchased from Amazon and I’ve tried numerous brands on here.- nail tech approved!
