I am a new sous vide user.  I've already spent $200 on a Joule  and did not want to spend another $100+ for an electric vacuum sealing machine and the bags go with it. So I bought this "bags kit"  It literally has everything you need to start sous vide right away.  The package is quite "busy" with all the parts it comes with (see the pictures).  I was initially overwhelmed a bit but was able to figure things out quickly.  Instruction on the box is clear and as long as you follow it closely, this is very easy to use.   A piece of advice - let the air out of the bag first before sealing the bag with the pump. If done right, you only need to pump it about 10 times to completely vacuum seal the bag. I was pretty impressed with the E-book recipes.   I have not cooked anything following any of the recipes yet but there are a few that I would definitely want to try.   One warning - the E-book is not included in the package.  I found it in my email inbox.   The seller should let buyers know where to find the E-book. Anyway, I like it so far, and will do a follow-up review.  I am interested in finding out how the bags hold up over time.

I looked around before buying this particular product. There are few other products offering similar stuff but this package seemed to offer the most bags for the money. The securing clips are rubberized and do not damage the bags. The hand pumps, erasable markers and everything in the box work great as described. I would recommend it to anyone getting into sous vide.

I purchased this kit to be used with my Anova Sous Vide. Very pleased with quality and ease of use. Used it several times with different types of meat and fish. I purchased these to use with a new sous vide cooker and they worked as expected. The bags are sturdy, I've reused one bag several times already and it seems no worse for wear. The seals are heavy-duty and the pump quickly vacuums out the air. The bags are of high quality and hold its seal well, even after sitting in water for a couple of hours. This is a great product and works extremely well. I am very happy with the product and highly recommend.

Nice kit for the price. You have to be extremely careful to keep the slightest bit of debris away from the zipper seals. Sometimes thats very difficult depending on what you are trying to put in the bags, and how it is seasoned. Three of my bags failed because no matter how much I tried to wipe the seal clean it failed.

Used the bags the first day this came in and work well. The seller sent me a nice follow-up note asking me to let them know if there were any problems and provided a great follow-up PDF recipe book for using my new Sous Vide system, which was greatly appreciated. :-)

I had recently gotten a sous vide and wanted a vacuum sealer in order to more efficiently prep and store meat in the freezer so I tried this out. Now I'm sure this is good enough to vacuum seal every now and then but if you plan on sealing on the reg just go ahead and get a foodsaver!

I am very impressed with the Sous Vide bags. The bags hold up really well and seem to be made of really high quality material. The rubber clips keep the bag and place and do not cause any damage to the bags. The seller was very motivated and contacted me to make sure that I was happy with the purchase. It also came with an awesome cookbook for some great new ideas to use. 5 stars
