I absolutely love this lip liner pencil! The color I purchased is Mauve, it's actually the perfect mauve shade that I wad hoping for. It glides on very nicely, the tip is a triangle, keeping the sharp edge for a well defined line and can be colored in easily for the whole lip, if you prefer this. It's a great price, stays on a long time and isn't drying at all. I will be buying many more !!!

I bought this, Elf Love Triangle Lip Filler Liner in soft pink ($4) and Elf Cream Glide Lip Liner in ‘truth or bare’ color. ($2)The cream glide feels more moisturizing and smooth while applying it.THE LTLF feels less smooth, but looks great on. They both do.I did an experiment for smudge resistance and rubbed the lips trying to smudge the lip liner onto my face. Clear winner! The LTLF barely bright any color (had to look very closely) off the lip. The Cream glide lip liner smudged easily off my lips and brought substantial color off my lips to my face.So, for $2 more, I think the Love triangle lip liner is a better choice.I know my husband doesn’t want lipstick marks on his face. And I don’t want to transfer lipstick to the chalice at church.The photo of my wrist: the multiple lines is the Elf love triangle lip, filler liner in soft pink. The single line is the elf cream glide lip liner.The photo of my lips, the top lip has the soft pink elf lip triangle lip filler. The bottom lip has the elf cream. I blotted my lips prior to the smudge test.

This lip pencil is nice. Product glides on pretty well and stays on for several hours before I need to do any touch up. It’s a little drying so I apply chapstick or lipstick over it but the color is great if you just want to fill in the whole lip and use a clear gloss over it. I’d purchase it again.

I love Elf products and this liner doesn’t disappoint. It goes on easily and the color is beautiful.

I really wanted to love this liner... It had some great features: it's a twist-up, the shape should be great for filling in the lip AND for lining, I've liked others from this brand.Unfortunately, I won't be able to try it out to know more because it's just not my color! With a name like PLUM I expected a color closer to a purple while this is really more of a cool pinkish-red. It's not too far off from the color on screen, but I had hoped otherwise. I also bought MAUVE, but it didn't really match the color on screen. I expected a purplish-pink or dusty rose, but it's actually more of a slightly pinkish brown.Unfortunately, this product isn't available locally, so I had to purchase blind. I definitely recommend finding the right color for you at your local store before ordering online, especially if you have a hard time finding a color that works for you!On my hand the color smudges / transfers fairly easily, even though it is a matte finish.

This is my first purchase of an ELF product and it has not disappointed. The pink color is not bright and works well as a lip liner. It is easy to apply smoothly. It held up to a busy days of meetings and there were no smudges to speak of. A concern was that it would be chalky, but that was not the case. The liner is smooth and the texture indicates durability.

I bought these in "Deep Brown" and "Mauve." They've become my go-to all-over cosmetic product. While these are designed as lip liners, I've been using them for my lips, cheeks, and even eyes. They deliver a monochrome look that I love. The formula is creamy enough to blend on my skin but stays in place once it's set, and the pigmentation is perfect. The triangle shape makes it easy to line precisely or fill larger areas. Even with regular use, they've lasted a while and haven't dried out. I'm so impressed that I plan to purchase them in a few more shades to experiment with different looks. I highly recommend these liners if you're into minimalist makeup or want a multitasking product.

It doesn’t have the color saturation i was hoping for( trying to camoflauge my cupids bow) but still a nice color for those of us who can carry off those autumn hues. I just filled in the entire lip and paired it with Elf’s (honey talks) gloss and I liked that look. Can easily wear this combo during the day. If you happen to wear this with a rust or cream color blouse, it would really pop. As for the staying power,,,can’t say that it will hold up long because the lip liner is a bit creamy,,,and we all know that means it doesn’t have staying power
