Keeps me from falling and stumbling
I have foot drop. The brace works great. I am lucky to have found a man wearing one in a restaurant. Will be ordering another shortly. I had a custom fit professionally made brace. Hated it. This is so much more comfortable. Worth trying.

Functional comfort
Was looking for AFO with minimal visibility with short pants. This seemed unobtrusive in beige. Application took practice. Seems to help with more natural flexibility of ankle. Is a bit warm in summer heat. Because it needs to be snug, seems to add to lower leg swelling. Do like the way it feels, seems a more natural gait than with hard plastic AFO. So many to choose from, some absolutely silly application. Will keep using.

Velcro doesn’t stick well after only 5 weeks
To prevent drop foot. I’d like to return and get another right foot ankle brace.

One size really doesn't fit all!
I still like the design and the quality is great (I looked at dozens of different types before ordering). And I'm sure it works well for size 8-11 feet, but I can just barely gain the velcro grab around my size 14 foot. I've certainly lost any adjustment to control tension from the elastic straps. The user guide photo shows ends of toes even with the front of the foot pad; my toes extend forward of the pad their total length. The net effect is that my support is compromised. Definitely 3 and probably 4 sizes are certainly needed!

Works well
This works really well with my drop foot. I can wear any shoe or boot that I have. This is the 2nd one I have bought

not as supportive as I hoped ... bummed
Hoping this brace would provide SOME support. It did not. Unfortunately had to keep tightening. By the end of the day, I felt like I was choking my ankle. DEFINITELY would not depend on this for support.

Great for dropfoot
Most of the braces available are for plantar fasciitis. I tried two of them for drop foot and they only made the neuropathy pain, causing my drop foot, worse. This brace, however, does help by lifting the drop foot just enough to keep my toes from catching and causing me to land face down on the floor. For me, the brace is slightly uncomfortable because of the velcro. I have hypersensitivity in my foot and have to wear a sock layer between my skin and the velcro but this also increases the compression. Regardless, this is the best, inexpensive product I have found for drop foot. I have to use canes and wear it a few hours a day to support the foot or to pull the foot up a little from the drop. I will buy another so that I have more than one available. A good product. Well stitched and easy to use.

Overnight comfort
This brace is soft and nicely bound with smooth edging for comfort. I use it overnight to manage my tendency towards footdrop, as i must sleep on my back exclusively, with a custom wedge to accommodate a lower back injury.Initially I wasn’t sure the brace would work for me, a thin petite woman using a “one size fits all” product. After a week of trying different tweaks, I seem to have an approach that works well for me.I would not be able to use the brace in daytime with my regular shoes - somewhat bulky. Also the Velcro clings to the soft weave of the brace, and is easily dislodged with foot movement.
