Bosswell Ford Hitch Cover Licensed LED Light Trailer Towing Hitch Receiver Cover (Black)

This was a cool little gadget until it quit working recently. We had it since about december I believe! We got it for my dads truck to bypass the thing that causes it to automatically turn the truck off when the car comes to a halt for oh so many seconds. It worked just fine for that until it quit working. Seemed to me like a short or something cause it started out working fine, then sporadically, then not at all. Very disappointed cause it’s past the return date now and we can’t do anything about it. bummer!

I purchase this item for my 2011 Ford F-150 and I thought it was great. The color matched perfectly to my black truck, it was easy to install, looked good and functioned as another rear break light at night.Unfortunately, this item doesn't work well on my new 2019 Ford Ranger. When hooked up, the hitch cover triggers warnings on the dashboard that a trailer light is out. Hopefully they will come out with an updated version of this that won't trigger those alarms.

Works great but don’t get for newer model vehicles as it thinks trailer is attached and sends errors to dashboard. If I had known I would not have purchased. The manufacturer needs to research which vehicles it will work on and not cause problems confusing that there is a trailer. I even asked the Ford dealership if there was a way to shut the sensor off and they advised know.

Stopped working after about 1 month, probably not waterproof. Looked nice when i first got it and it worked, but when it was working it would trip a trailer light fault anytime I hit the brakes or used a turn signal. Super annoying. Great looks, horrible design and function. Oh ya, and the cable was too short and required an extension. The manufacturer obviously never even tested it on a Ford truck.

Came quickly, well packaged. But the part that goes into the hitch is what looks to be pretty cheap plastic. Not a great fit either. Pretty disappointed

I bought this and it said it fits the 2016 F-150. That's not true the cable is not long enough so I had to buy an extension. Since my truck has BLIS and all this other stuff it drives my instrument panel crazy. Finally, just disconnected it.

Nice fit, lit up very nice. Easy to install
