My granddaughter loves it
I'd like to believe a 1 year old is excited about a nondestructive book. I liked it. Thought it was cute. She plays with it , so guess I did good on this one.

Really live up to their name!!! :D
These books are WONDERFUL for our 7 month old who constantly wants to read her older siblings' books. They are a great stand-in for a baby who really wants to taste everything - we try to keep one near every bookshelf so when the older kids start reading, we can pull out one of these for our youngest. These have been roughly handled by her older siblings, stepped on, jumped on, folded up, regularly drooled on, scrunched up, and rubbed across the floor, to name a few things, and yet, they're still as durable as when we first got them. The books are remarkably flat when you first get them, but after a bit of baby and toddler use, the only way they show wear is through folds or crumples, which can usually be refolded pretty flat. The pages stay wonderfully intact (the edges don't even fray), and the colors are as vibrant as they've ever been, even after months and years of use. Actually, I'd argue that use provides good texture to the pages and makes them feel better to curious little fingers and mouths. There are no words on any pages except the covers, so you can make up your own story, or just point out the animals or colors or whatever. Honestly, these are great for kids who aren't gentle enough for regular books (and might dissolve board books), but who are ready for story time. The one drawback we've found is that once kids learn that it's OK to eat these books, they try transferring that skill to other books... But it's a great starter book and super sturdy!! :D

Must buy!
Best books! They hold up after being chewed and bent and thrown around. A great baby shower gift or 1st bday gift! Love the pics in them too. My girls love them!!!

My favorite Indestructible
This is my favorite Indestructible! First, I absolutely love these books. My son is 1 and is constantly trying to hold the books I read him and turn the pages himself. This is fine with board books, but board books tend to be bulky, heavy, and not very travel friendly. Plus, when he chews on the pages of his board books it ruins them. These books are very aptly named. They truly are indestructible. Plus, they are lightweight, compact, and super travel friendly. Perfect diaper bag distractions! This particular book is full of colorful pictures of various farm animals. There are no words in the book, so you can "read" them however you want. I sing "Old MacDonald Had A Farm" while "reading" this book, and he loves it. When I don't feel like singing I'll either make up a story for each page or just point and describe.Seriously, if you're looking for a book for someone 6 months or older (especially in the toddler age range) this is absolutely perfect.

Overall, my son loves to play with it.
Book is wordless, when it should have included 1-2 words a page. Babies love print.I like the creative images of farm animals. At times though, a greater contrast in colors from the animal to its background would help see the image better. My son loves having a book that mom lets him play with and chew on. These books will get wrinkled but they are still functional and much better than giving my son a real book (which would be destroyed at first drool). The pages are too thin for my 9 month old to turn. He can only do board book page turning at this point.Overall, my son loves to play with it.

Baby and toddler terrific!
Awesomesauce... These books are terrific! They really do hold up, at least for us. Admittedly, my perfect little flower (🙄) is not at all destructive, but we do travel quite a bit and roll these up and shove them in a bag or find them bent later. They always bounce back fine. I only wish the publisher would license the format for other publishers to use! Board books are so heavy and bulky. I could reduce my toddler's library from two shelves to maybe half a shelf if the Eric Carle, Carl Dog, Boynton, Brett, etc. books came in this format. These stories are great, though. The pictures are beautiful/-colorful and lush without any white space on every page. I love the picture books without words (like Carl Dog books, etc.) because it gives us an opportunity to play imaginatively and develops language/narrative skills. Excellent stuff.

Literally Plotless
No words, only illustrations.

Great for language!
There are several commenters giving one or two stars because there are no words or stories in these books. That should not stop anyone from buying them! You don't need a story to engage a baby! just talk about the picture. "Look at the stars" as you point, or "This is a tiger. They roar!" or "I see red, and orange, and blue, and green." Any language with developing baby brains is great! Don't miss the opportunity because there are no words.

Totally indestructible!
Many people have tried to tear this book - just to see if it is possible, but it is not! perfect for a 9 month old who is already loving books. The pictures are nice, but it is a shame there isn't a story to read.

This is a brilliant book! Well
This is a brilliant book! Well, not the story but the fact babies can literally try to tear it to pieces and it doesn't ruin. Well worth having one for a baby.

Pamphlet like book, toddler loves it
I was a bit underwhelmed when I revived these ( I bought two of the range) I wasn't sure how they would've look but they do look more like a pamphlet or leaflet than an a book. Though saying that my 2 year old ( who rips books to shreds) does like them. More than anything I would be concerned that we will loose them as they aren't very substantial.
