This pumice is the real deal. It is high quality, uniform in size, generously portioned, and securely packaged.I purchased this particular pumice after sampling a few other brands available on Amazon. The other brands left much to be desired -- they were often dirty, gritty, and inconsistent in size. Although some competitors charge less for a similar quantity of pumice, the difference in price is negligible when it comes down to overall quality.As you can see from my photo, the pot on top (terracotta) is filled with pumice from a similar listing by a different brand. The pieces are larger, rougher, and vary in size. The pot towards the bottom (plastic) is filled with Cz Garden pumice. The pumice by Cz Garden is smoother, cleaner, brighter, and consistently sized. There is simply no comparison.This pumice comes packaged neatly in a sturdy and resealable plastic bag with lots of printed information regarding the product. While others have complained about the Bible quote on the bag, I am not bothered in the slightest. On the contrary, the controversy surrounding the quotation was rather amusing. It was, in fact, one of the deciding factors for my purchase. A quotation from Genesis regarding the creation of plant life is hardly an attempt to proselytize; rather, it is a celebration of the mystery and wonder of our created universe. Some interesting food for thought: a "new age" or "secular" quotation would have either gone unnoticed or celebrated. Go figure.Thank you to Cz Garden for creating a superior product, for honoring the mystery of creation, and for celebrating our imitation of God's love for this world through the simple act of gardening. You have earned yourself a loyal customer.

I use this as a potting medium amendment for my indoor and outdoor plants, provides great drainage and is the perfect size to where it's not too chunky in the mix, great buy :)

I bought this specifically for a lithops setup. It was recommended to me by a member of a Facebook group about succulents. It was just enough after I blended it with about 10% organic material.I'm going to buy a couple of more bags to mix with my succulent soil from now on! Perlite is cheaper, but it will float to the top of you top water and it gets everywhere. But like perlite, you don't wanna hale this dry.So the quality is amazing! The color is neat and blends well with the soil. It's easy to use. Just dampen it, dump, and mix.It's small but that's perfect for what I use it for, especially the lithops.The functionality is great! It doesn't float away or blow around. I'm absolutely buying this again!

I mix this with my succulent soil and worm castings that I buy from Amazon I have used perlite but the dust causes breathing problems so I have to wear a mask. This is more expensive but it has larger particles. Since succulents need some grit this works great with less root rot. I have bought this before and will purchase it again.

Great product, good quality, very little dust & the perfect size for mixing soil for potted plants.It is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. I will order again.

Bought this for my cactus potting mix and to add into my regular potting soil for extra drainage. The size is great for small pots. Doesn't float around like perlite and is more porous. Would buy again!

Love that the bag is resealable, worth a few extra bucks to store it easily
