Tom's of MaineComplete Protection Aluminum-Free Natural Deodorant for Women, Lemon & Bergamot, 2.25 OZ

I am amazed by the large number of positive reviews for this product. I had been using ThinkSport prior to buying Tom’s of Maine and found the former effective on odor but a bit “cakey” in texture, leaving residue on all clothing. This Tom’s deodorant goes on a little wet, smells nice, and doesn’t leave any residue on clothing, but boy do I smell after extending even a small amount of energy (like that used in walking)! Have used it for over a week now and can’t continue without deeply offending myself or others in close proximity. I expect to sweat with a zero aluminum deodorant, but smell? Come on, that’s just not right.

Wanted to stop using aluminum- based antiperspirant to reduce risk of cancer. Used another natural deodorant by Tom's which worked okay, but this works better than aluminum- based antiperspirant EVER worked for me. I rarely experience wetness or odor - 2 things I have really struggled with since I was a teenager and I'm finally getting relief without risk of cancer. I love this product and no longer need to be embarrassed about my stink or pit stains! My clothes are no longer destroyed from the stains and odor from deodorant buildup.

I have been trying to find a good natural deodorant that isn’t ridiculously priced. I was using Schmidt’s but it was kind of messy and going up in price so I thought I’d give this a try. On my first day I noticed that it seemed to stay sticky on my hair which was a little annoying. I had a pretty relaxed day with no real physical activity (and in the winter) but at the end of the day I smelled so I won’t be using again.

Nice scent and deodorant works better than expected. I switched from regular aluminum deo and it took a little getting used to but I have it worked out now and am enjoying the product. I love how it goes on thin and clear so it doesn’t get on my shirts as much as the conventional stuff. It’s definitely not as effective as the aluminum kind but it works well enough to earn a 5 star review from me.

I’m a little upset that I bought a 3 pack… I need magnesium in my aluminum free deodorant in order to not smell like a dead hobo apparently so these do nothing for me. I liked the scent before I started to sweat.
