I was in the market for training collar for my dog I was looking at some better known brands that were $250-600 not wanting to pay that much for something I didn't know if I would use I went with this one it works great I definitely recommend it for someone getting into dog training

I don't know what I'm doing wrong?! It worked for the first like 3 days now it doesn't work at all. I've taken off the dog and charged it multiple times and made sure it was on but for some reason the shock setting stopped working. The beep setting works. I haven't checked the others yet. But this is very annoying! We'll shock our one dog because he likes to fight with the neighbors dog, but now we can't. I'm really thinking I should have gotten the insurance on the collar.

I ended up returning these due to the fact that they shut off within five minutes of putting them on. This means that when the time comes to use them, my dog is long gone and the collar is not working. They were great in every other aspect, from shock levels, to charge time, to ease of use, but because they turn off randomly, they become useless.

The only thing I do not like is that switching between the collars isn’t easy because there is a 1,2 and 3 toggle, so to get back to 1, you have to push the button twice and make sure to look at it. That’s not easy to correct a behavior quickly. Otherwise, it is a decent set and price.

Collar works great. Response time is a must for training. Absolutely no delay on signal from remote to collar. Easy to use and the battery is really good. I had more expensive collars before. This is up there and the price for this collar is amazing for what you get. The only thing I would change is the collar strap part. I prefer the buckle type. I wIll just take it off another collar strap and swap but that is my preference. If you wanted to use the original strap it will work great too.

Excellent price when compared to the PetSafe models. Love the fact that it works with three dogs and you have your choice of beep, vibrate or shock. I've had them for about three months now.Update Nov 21, 2017: After having the collars for about four months, a battery on one of them failed. Then a few weeks later the other battery failed. However, in each case Customer Service responded quickly to my e-mail and had a new collar out to me in a few days. They say that the collars should be charged only until fully charged and in no case more than four hours. I am now trying to adhere to this closely in case that was the problem. It is a bit of an inconvenience, as my cell phones, etc I leave plugged in whenever I'm not using them and have had no ill effects.

I bought these collars on June 21st. One collar doesn’t even sync to the remote anymore. And the other one of the pegs that sends the vibrations and shocks has completely broken off. And the other is loose. When I put the collar on my dog I make sure it is not too tight or too loose. And some the shock collar has still managed to break.I will say that when the shock collars were working properly they were great. My dog responded to training no problem. Now I have to find a new one because I can’t trust that this brand won’t break and mess up again. I have two dogs which is why I got two collars but only one needs one. The warning beeping sound helped trained my other dog without having a collar on.

When working, they are effective, however, we has to have the controller replaced as it would not take a charge. Now, even though fully charged, the collars are turning off. Corrections are not made.

Works on most areas

Je suis très content de mon achat. Ma chienne court beaucoup et très vite. Après un peu d’entrainement (2 ou trois scéances avec laisse) pour intérger le fonctionnement du collier, je peux maintenant aller dans de grands espaces et la laisser courrir jusqu’à épuisement. Il faut cependant utiliser les stimulations statiques correctement. Pour ma chienne il s’agissait de détourner son focus, où qu’elle soit, pour qu’elle focus plutôt sur mes commandes. Pour ça, c’est merveilleux. J’utilise donc des stimulations de petite intensité... et les niveaux sont, selon moi, l’élément le plus important sur ces colliers : plus fins est l’ajustement, plus efficace et varié peut être l’intervention. Jumeler avec une récompense, l’entrainement devient carrément impressionnant. Pour ma chienne, au final, ça récompense est de courir sans restriction (sauf pour sa sécurité) et elle est maintenant plus libre avec cet appareil.

Bought it for our older pet who is now hard of hearing thought the vibration would work better than a sound….the vibration does not work for him, he doesn’t understand it.
