This worked perfectly for my needs. While it took me a few minutes to place the sphere in the holder, I'm extremely happy with the results & it holds securely. There are also small foam pads on the end of each "arm" so I don't have to worry about it scratching my crystals. I absolutely love the way this looks & will most likely order more.

Just what I was looking for! Great grip and adjustability.

Good looking way to display a tiny Petroleum Quartz Enhydro I have. But I can't see it being able to hold an object very big or heavy. Spanner arms spread and easily loose grip on item. Barely able to hold tiny crystal that weighs practically nothing.

It is a great look and really highlight my collection items. Thank you.

I damaged my sphere and the base of it is so unstable that even when I secured my sphere, the entire stand toppled over.I tried to capture the lean it has but just imagining that rocking back and forth as you try and move the piece to the place you want to display it.I initially bought it for a 60 mm sphere, but it was really hard to secure and I just gave up opting to play it safe with one of my cheaper, smaller spheres.If you have nice specimens, keep them away from this thing. Don’t put it on glass either bc whatever it is holding will shatter it.Pass on this product altogether or opt for a more expensive version. You get what you pay for I guess

The stand is very flimsy. The mounting screws are poorly drilled and not aligned. It's difficult to mount small things. And the tiny base makes moutning heavy or items scaled to fit the stand difficult or impossible and it falls over. This is just a great example of something made in the cheapest possible manner.Avoid. There must be better options.
