This is a very nice starter hive, all parts were great quality for the $$. (The frames although unassembled are made from basic pine/fur and well cut, good quality they assembled well, no splitting when nailed.) two thumbs up! I purchased for the hive, and haven't yet used any of the accessories, like other reviewers, I sort of figured those were trow in items, but everything looks decent! Nicely waxed wood and shipped fast!

This was my first hive box and it has served well all summer. No complaints and would buy again but with additional boxes. Also remember to add more beeswax to the foundation. The bees need more than what most foundation comes with to prevent wonky comb. If you are just getting started, go BIGGER. You WILL need more than one box!

Excellent delivery time and quality product and price was fair with all of the tools you will need to get started. I also enjoyed putting it together. I am looking forward to my beekeeping experience.

This was a last minute buy for me needed a new hive quickly for a nuc. I am very pleases with my hive it's absolutely beautiful and very well made will be buying more

Good build quality, screwed dovetails rather than box joints and everything is well coated with wax.

Opened the box and top of the bee box is broken.

Box is falling apart after about 3 months. Seams are splitting. Wax is fading off. It wasn't in full sun. I wouldn't recommend this product
