Our gas logs needed a bit more logs to hid stuff. Worked perfectly.

Perfect for ammunition can type of gas pit This is not for a home gas fireplace as the logs are tiny . The only problem I see is that they do not get red as per description, they actually turn charcoal black , so realistic that if you touch it your hand will be completely black ,Kind of worry about that since that back powder could be cancerous. I’m using disposable gloves to handle them , I even wash them with hot water and a lot of black stuff came off, not sure they need to be seasoned but for sure not realistic RED . I’m on the fence on this item, if anyone knows of another brand that does get red and not that nasty black pls let me know. I will keep using it for a while to see if they get better. Anyway its Amazon so plenty of time to assess before return so not stressed out 😂😂 I will update soon Cheers 🥂

These are indeed very small, but are a good size for what I bought them for.They sit nicely atop the lava rock that came with our fire table and give it a bit of a more authentic look.I do not notice any smell.
