Chaga is incredible stuff
It's a bunch of dual extracted chaga. I don't understand why people are complaining about the taste, that's like buying a knife and complaining that it's too sharp. Indeed it does not taste great, I can only stomach a half serving in my coffee... but the effects! It's incredible. It makes eczema from my elbows go away completely, resolves long standing stomach and intestinal issues, and even makes my seasonal allergies go away. My skin looks great when I take it. It also helps me have energy and focus. It does so many great things! This is the first time I've ever thought the term "super food" was reasonable.I used to take the foursigmatic chaga elixir. It's taste is much better but that's because they hid a smaller quantity of the chaga behind other herbs and flavors. I love their product and them as a company but this is a much more cost effective way to get all of the same amazing benefits.Unfortunately I dropped this bag when I was opening it and spilled like half before I even got a chance to try it :(

Has a peppery earthy taste
I have tried about 4 different types of chaga and this one seems unusual in that it has a peppery taste that none of the others had. It also has a very earthy dirt like taste that another single extraction had and the color is very dark as if it has a large amount of the outside layer. The pepper like quality seemed to upset my stomach and I'm not sure that I will take it regularly but maybe occasionally. I'm not sure about the quality of the underlying potency. If you are concerned about flavor, then you probably won't like this product.

Super-charged Healing Elixir
I added a teaspoon to my morning coffee -- black -- and felt as if I was sipping on a super-charged healing elixir. I enjoy the taste of earthy brews and knowing that my body was receiving powerful benefits from the chaga mushroom made my experience that much more nourishing. I know Appropriated Cultures is the real deal and their mushroom extracts are potent, especially compared to other brands I've tried. Thanks guys!

Good quality Chaga!
This is dark and good quality chaga. The taste can be a bit difficult at first, but is likable in taste. I need to use it for some more time to attest to the benefits.

Potent Extract
I've made my own chaga tea from chunks but have been searching for a potent dual extract for day to day use. I emailed the company to get more info on the product/company and they provided excellent customer service, answering all my questions very promptly. The extract itself is dark, smells quite potent upon opening the package and has an earthy, slightly bitter taste that you would expect from quality chaga. It provides me with a centered energy throughout the day and I feel great after drinking it. I cannot attest to long-term health benefits but chaga is a powerful medicinal supplement to add to your daily routine. I feel like this is a fair price for a dual extract, which is the best for full spectrum extraction of chaga's powerful constituents.

Tastes good and got a much smaller package than last time.
This gives me a tiny bit of energy and makes my tummy hurt but is first time with this one.

It does provide chaga effects, but it's less potent than other chaga extracts I've tried and given the price it's less cost-effective. It's dark and tastes like it may be burned.
