I was skeptical, but this cake mold worked great for me! The mold easily hooks together to make the shape you want. It is bigger than I was expecting with the four pieces, average cake pan size. I made a generic box of carrot cake mix, one box, and it gave me 7 of the small hearts. I put one ladle scoop of batter in each heart, they are perfect single serving for serious cake eaters, or share with a partner for a romantic dessert. I sprayed the inside of the cooking area with a no-stick spray. There was a little batter seeping out under the mold, but it did not affect the finished product any. Just tap the side of the mold and it seperated from the bottom, and the cake came out like butter. I think a silicone baking mat would be the best to use with them, but for now my glass dish worked just fine. I do plan on getting more so I can make big, fun molds like animal heads and stuff.

I used this item today for the first time. I was able to make it into a heart shape fairly quick. However once you start pouring the batter it loses its shape. While I only had a little spillage this product now sits in my garbage can. Not worth the money. Wish I never purchased it. I literally just threw my money in the garbage.

I am new to baking decorative cakes. This is the great set to get started and have fun. It includes everything you need. I made a heart cake which surprised me it came out good. I was concernes the seams wouldn't hold up without leaked, however it did not. Great set, plan to use it with me my nieces when they visit.

Being able to create heart shaped cakes was a big reason for buying this and the cake doesn't hold its heart shape. Have tried twice and both the times the shape got messed up. Extremely disappointed. I would have liked to give it a 0 rating since the idea was the versatility while using it. That clearly is not happening with a simple shape.

Bought this for my daughter who loves to bake, she absolutely loved it. Used it once already and it worked as she had hopes. Asked for a second set.

The packaging for this item was horrible - just some red silicon strips and icing tips in a plastic bag. I bought it as a gift and I'm having to print out the pictures from Amazon so the recipient will know what it is. Disappointed - looks too cheap to give as a gift.

Doesn’t work the way it’s explained, you can not make all shapes it shows you should be able to, I ended up returning it.

These don't work. I can't get them to hold their shape into anything other than a misshapen oval. I was using them for cake molds and the cake batter just leaked out the bottom where the silicone meets the baking sheet.
