FRONTAL IS TRASH AF
Hi Everyone,So I received my Verna hair bundles today in the mail via UPS. I have a prime membership so I received the hair in 2 days. I was so excited when the post lady dropped off my package and today has been an absolutely gloomy day so what better way to kill some downtime than go ahead and construct my wig. Opening the package there was nothing spectacular about the presentation. A standard shipment with the hair in plastic packaging with the size of the hair bundles on each. The hair was wrapped in a silver twine and hair the typical lunch lady hair net. The first thing I opened was my frontal. IMMEDIATELY when I ran my hands through the frontal, there was shedding..... at this point I said I won't worry maybe just some loose hairs and since it is curly/wavy some shedding is to be expected. I figured I was going to bleach the knots, pluck and condition the frontal before I used it anyway. I did use BW bleach with 40 volume developer (the hair takes color like a dream might I add so I will give points to that, nor did it have a processed smell to it.) I am not very expected in bleaching knots so I did get a few blond hairs around the perimeter but I knew I had to pluck still so this was no big deal. I let the bleach set for 20 minutes and came back to remove the residue, this is where I started to worry. I washed the frontal and hair was just coming out 5-6 strands at a time. I immediately finished rinsing and shampooing with my color alarm shampoo and then used my favorite conditioner for curly hair my OGX Kukui conditioner (black and gold bottle) hair was STILL coming out 5-6 strands at a time. I could tell at this point that the frontal was ABSOLUTE TRASH. I constructed my wig using the hot glue gun method (which if you do right lowest of the lowkey it seals your wefts because the glue seeps into the tracks. Now I have absolutely NO issue with the hair bundles. The hair was soft and manageable, HOWEVER, the most important part is the frontal. I know that overtime with combing the hair, a bald spot is sure to snatch in it somewhere so I have been holding down on the frontal and combing to try and take some of the pressure off. ANOTHER ISSUE WITH THE FRONTAL is there is a MAJOR texture difference with the frontal and the bundle...now when I wet the hair AMAZING!!!!! but when the frontal begins to dry (naturally no product added yet) it gets poofy and somewhat straight. I am giving the hair 3/5 stars because 1) I do like the bundles they are good 2) it took color like a dream 3) there was no chemical or bad smell to the hair BUT THE FRONTAL IS TRASH AF. I'm not sure if I will be able to purchase another frontal from a different company and replace this one on the same unit but hopefully, I can. I am planning to use the hair until bald spot snatches but I am very very disappointed with the frontal. Hopefully, the company will reach out and maybe try to explain to me the frontal situation or send me another one. If you looking for some good water wave BUNDLES though they are definitely good but get your frontal elsewhere.

Gorgeous at first
Great and on time shipping! I got the 18inch frontal and it was literally so beautiful until I washed and conditioned it; it became matted and lost its curl pattern. I’ve had it less than two weeks and only washed it because it began getting hard from the daily water + conditioner spray to maintain the beautiful curl pattern. I gave it a star for each week it lasted.

I like this hair! It is a very good quality. I bleached the hair and it came out really nice. The wefts are thin, that is the only issue i have with the hair. No shedding or tangles at this point . I would suggest this hair all.

Such a beautiful frontal. True to length and the curls are amazing! I'm going to make a wig soon. Hopefully I can post an update!!
