Carefully handcrafted with rough sawn pine in our 150 year old barn nestled in the Pocono mountains of Pennsylvania. Burning the wood with a torch gives our material a beautiful, distressed, stained-like finish that smells fantastic. At almost an inch thick, each piece of wood is chosen for its unique variations from sap to different grains, knots and even knot holes. Almost all of our items are fashioned together with brass trim head screws, adding to the quality and style. We ensure that every product we make is special and unlike anyone else's. This very unique whitewashed look is achieved by first implementing the trademark FLINTFACE WOODSHOP technique of burning the wood with a large torch and then applying and wiping off a whitewash leaving our products a soft white with the hint of a lavender tone from the char beneath the surface.
