This is how it arived The intended use is is going into a well established 46 gallon tank Into a dedicated filter that uses only zeolight When I purchased bulk in the past it comes in a container that is sealedIs not a bread bag I don't know what was in the bag previously other than bread bread I don't know if there are any chemicals in that bag that it's going to interact with the environmental going to use the filter the water throw I don't feel comfortable risking my well established tank with plantsNeedless to say I was shocked when it came in like thisBecause I needed this sooner than later I had to go to petsmart and get it there
