This is a really nice pillow and is a great idea. My children had to lay flat, with the mattress elevated. I bought this for my nephew and am pretty jealous at how comfortable he is compared to my son who was NOT a happy back sleeper...lol! The pillow is memory form, in a U shape, with a hole in the center, to allow the back of the skull to lay in. It is NOT super thick, so I personally don't feel that this is good for BUMPY stroller rides...but normal walks on flat surfaces will keep baby in place. Again, my children had a flat surface to lay on, whether in the crib or in a stroller, so this is so much better than that. However...again...it is not super thick so dont expect your babys head to NOT move around when jostled.It has NO ODOR and chemical smell...thankfully....which I was nervous about. The outside is washable, which I would recommend doing the first time anyway. If your baby begins to roll around, I would recommend discontinued use, but for newborn infants, this is perfect! When they are able to fully roll over, back and forth, then you could bring it back, but in that in between stage, I would opt for no pillow unless you are watching them.

Nice pillow, just right size for a 4-6 months old baby. It's flat enough and it has memory foam. I didn't buy to prevent flat head but just to provide some support for the baby's head in the stroller. One thing I didn't like is that the instructions say to wash it by hand and not it in the washing machine. However, I did wash it in the machine and it came out fine.

Baby doesn't mind this pillow. Wish it had a little more cushion around head and not so flat throughout.

I don't know if it's the pillow or that my daughter was tired but first day using it and she slept through out the night for the first time in 3 weeks!

The pillow itself seems good quality but the description claims several times that it's organic cotton but no where on the packaging or labels does it say it. I feel like something isn't right.
