Bumble Bee Canned Hardwood Smoked Oysters, 3.75 oz Can - Ready to Eat - 18g Protein per Serving - Gluten Free

NOLA baby here. iYKYK. I am living landlocked right now and my family wanted oyster dressing for Holiday dinner. I was unable to source shucked oysters—- fresh frozen—- what to do? I found these made by Bumble Bee. I know this brand from makin grocery with my Mimi. So, I gave them a leap of faith and I’m SO GLAD I did. These were not too salty. These were not rubbery out of the can. And they were plentiful for the price. They were free of shell bits. And they were not overly strong in smell or flavor. I should note that I did not actually “cook” these oysters. The rice base was prepared and the chopped Bumble Bee oysters were added at the end while the rice was still smokin steaming hot. Such a hit at the Holiday table. Thank you, Bumble Bee, for your continued dedication to quality pantry goods and staples. I have already added this product to my saved grocery items folder. Good quality & taste price was good

I eat these here and there as a snack, and as an alternate protein, sometimes mixed into a bowl of tinned seafood. It has a deep earthy taste, with a nice smoky flavor to it. The oysters are not fishy smelling, they have good color for smoked oysters, and are firm and sturdy, but remain mashable with my fork. These give me a nice protein boost for days where i am kind of needing to up it a little. I like them enough to buy a 12 pack, and not just a tin or two here and there.

These have a great taste but being covered in oil makes them fall apart. Also the oil & smell are a little overwhelming when trying to eat the oysters.

These are so good for soup it will be time to order again soon. Good for a cold day meal.

Not spicy but the red sauce covers up the smoke flavor but TBE clams have a nice texture so They are just ok

Surprisingly good in a can. Close to fresh tasting. I will buy again.

If you’re a fan of smoked Oysters these are yummy. Great snack!

It appears just what I wanted. However, we have yet to taste them as I have just had hospital treatment.
