Perfect thread for my car seat upgrade
I purchased this nylon bonded blue thread to complete an upgrade to my car seats. My current car seats are black leather with black stitching. I wanted to add a little color to my interior so I decided to add in blue stitching to my car seats. This thread was recommended on several car forums from individuals that completed the same car seat upgrade. This thread is very thick and durable. This particular thread is made for heavy duty purposes like stitching leather. I also purchased this thread because it had a lot of good reviews from other people. I really like the blue color of the thread, even though the listing picture looks different than the blue in person, online the blue looks like more of a dark blue but in person it’s a royal blue. I love the way the blue looks on my black leather seats. This thread was a very good price and was the perfect size thread for my project.

Value priced, meets or exceeds description, works as advertised and is a value.
I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Good quality #138 thread for the Cowboy 4500 - but a bit overpriced IMO (MSRP should be around 5$)
This is a good Quality bonded nylon thread #138 (aka Tex 135 or FF Military thread). I use it for my Cowboy 4500 saddlery sewing machine and it works wonderfull. Better than the #277 the machine came with. This is however About the smallest thread one can use on this Juki TSC 441 clone machine (CB 4500). The tensioners have to be set at the least pressure (although even #69 thread could work eventually but this #138 is really the minimal regards strength) and like that the machine will give way better results (better stitch lines and better stitch Quality on both sides) with the #138 thread instead of the #277 thread. Specially with lighter leather (like 4 to 5 oz leather) this #138 thread is the way to go with best results. But be advised that FF thread (#138) is weaker - rips easier, which happened only once to me till now - than 4 Cord Governement thread (#277) but gives a better Looking stitch.Quality wise this bonded nylon thread is the way to go but I feel it's a bit overpriced per roll since for propper use on the CB4500 machine, you Need 2 rolls of the same Colour since unthreading the machine is not the best way to do Things. So one roll for the bobbin and another one for the machine is the way to go and considered that These should be a bit cheaper like 5$ per roll since you probably will order a few different Colours. But it's a fairly strong thread size for normal leather work (you dont wanna go with any less than #138 thread, since those are less strong and could comprimise your work). Quality wise it gets 5 stars but regards pricing it gets 4 stars.

thread feels great
I put this right to work in my Singer 132k6 and its sewing great. It is stiff and likes to unwind a few wraps so I added a sock over it to prevent that. I don't see this as a negative as it is clearly bonded, which can stiffen it up and lead to some spring effect.
