Super little Green light, great price.
Super little light and great design + instant on. Charges 3-4 ways, small solar panel on the top (very easily charges), 3 AA batteries, small cord wall plug and possibly USB connection. Lift the handle and it is on very bright all around by several small LED lights. Almost too bright if it gets near your face or eyes. I purchased the Green model from this Company and a Red one from another Company. The Red one came with a S hook to hang it up while the Green one did not. However, I prefer the Green and Black over the Red and Black. Has a built in battery bank but not sure the size. Both came charged up and ready to use. We used both all weekend when first received and just closed it up and left in the window during the day to recharge on the Solar Panel. Highly recommend these for anyone camping, around the house or great if power goes out or in the car. Showed them to the family and friends the first weekend, everyone loved them. Still going strong....

Really good light but wont charge iphone
the lights work well for a small area and the solar charger has kept it charged but i wasn't able to charge my iphone from the usb but was able to charge my blue tooth head set and run a second LED light so i am assuming the iphone needs more power than this thing puts out. It feels light weight and somewhat durable but i wouldn't be too rough with it. I tested it for 12 hours on a full charge from the sun without putting batteries in it and was still going but getting dim. That alone makes it worth keeping around for emergencys. I have had it for about a month it sits in the widow and I have used it numerous times around the house and have never put batteries in it...Pretty Cool!!! The fact that you can charge this with the sun and also use it as a power source on top of being a light makes it invaluable in an emergency situation. The only reason for 4 stars is because it wouldn't charge my phone.

Nice little light, but not very bright.
This little lantern is cute and handy, but didn't get as bright as I was expecting. I wanted a light that I could use when cooking or in the tent, but wanted something a little more sustainable and tent friendly than propane. To me, at its brightest, it's about as bright as a laptop screen at full brightness and all white pixels, maybe. Might not even be that. This lantern can illuminate things that are about 2 or 3 feet away, but after that it's only a little brighter than a cell phone. Looking through a backpack on the other side of the tent is still done mostly through feeling around. Bright or large objects are easier to find than others. It is nice to make out the larger shapes and not step on anyone, say if you were stepping out in the middle of the night; but black socks, hats or gloves can still get lost on top of a black or dark colored blanket, sleeping bag or jacket. We use the lantern in our gear loft in the middle of a 4 person tent so the light is always at least 2 or 3 feet from where we're trying to use it. It lights up the tent pretty well if you have a light colored rainfly. When cooking food, it's a great companion for a head lamp, but you'll likely find that your headlamp does a better job at illuminating your task. If you were cooking with it and a head lamp, someone could take this light and you'd probably not mind. So, it's a great night light and "solar candle", but not what I was looking for. The charging light also never goes off when charging so I'm not sure if it ever gets fully charged despite being plugged in all night.

The light would be fine if the on/off switch worked properly
The light would be fine if the on/off switch worked properly. After just a few uses (around the house), the light didn't turn off when I closed it. I had to open and close the light about 10 times to turn it off. Then, my kids used it and couldn't turn it off. It stayed on all night and lost its' charge. At that point, I complained to the company. The sent me a check for about $2 for my troubles and told me the switch would work better over time. That was not the case.Lately, I could never get it to turn off. Finally, I pulled it apart to examine the switch. I had hoped to adjust it so that it would work properly. Instead, during my "adjustment", the pieces broke apart. Now I can charge it, but can't turn it on. One of these days, I will mount a new pressure switch or a slider switch. So much trouble for what should be a reliable lantern.
