This puzzle project book for scroll saw users features dinosaurs. It is a reprint (with some updates) of Dinosaur Puzzles for the Scroll Saw by the same authors (2002). The new book adds puzzles for Therizinosaurus, Spinosaurus, Quetzalcoatlus, Lambeosaur, Iguanodon and Anzu Wylie but leaves out the Oviraptor and Pachyrhinosaur from the first book. The Toys section at the end may be nice but it's unnecessary. The puzzle patterns are repeated but without the lines for breaking them into puzzle pieces. Since the original book has been out of print for a while this new edition is welcome for those who like to make toys out of wood. However, if you don't have a scroll saw the only way you can use this book is to buy a high quality coping saw and have a lot of patience.

The puzzles are great, but I also enjoyed the life story of the authors... made me smile

I love these puzzle series and they have inspired me to make my own patterns! The only complaint I have is that the lines are not very dark and that makes scanning difficult.

A great book with many interesting projects arranged in ascending order of difficulty with a very useful introductory section but the patterns do not copy particularly well. However with the contrast turned up to max on my copier they are just about OK and the fine lines make for more accurate cutting. The plans in their earlier volume Dinosaur Puzzles for the scroll saw have much heavier outlines so photocopying presents no problem but you have to be very careful to cut on the edge of the outline.

Excellent book for making dinosaur toys to play with and puzzles to cut and piece together. Easy to fairly hard templates - anyone can make these.

I have bought several of this authors books and have and found the contents enjoyable and fun to make, with clear instructions and plenty of photos they really couldn’t make these puzzles any simpler.
