I used this item for a cookout and it was perfect. It was a perfect day with some wind at times and I did not have to worry about napkins blowing away. PS: I accidentally purchased two, but one will be perfect for my island home

When using my other napkin holder, I found that you would often pull all the napkins out while trying to get just one. This one fits both standard sizes of napkins and it’s now easier for everyone in the family to pull just one napkin.

I'm not going to bother returning it, but it's very lightweight and sloppily executed. In particular, the piece to hold the napkins down is so light that I think it would be lifted up in a gust of wind at a picnic. If I'd paid $5 for it at "Five Below" or "General Dollar," I'd be satisfied. But for $25 I expected something more substantial and attractive.

My mom just leaves a stack of napkins on the table. Got this for her and she loves it. Wood looks way classier than the usual wire ones.

It holds napkins well without then flopping or rolling over. The design is elegant and unobtrusive. It will be in my kitchen for years
