Great set of tools for the value, EXCEPT the glue.
For the price, this is a great starter set of PDR tools for the DIY guy. I especially love the slide hammer, I use it for all sorts of other things in the garage also. The main shortfall is the glue sticks provided. I found it very difficult to remove and clean off of the vehicle and pull tabs. Replaced them with a bag of TabWeld glue and it's worked much better. Get 90%+ alcohol to remove the glue after each pull.

Great kit with practice and research.
I fix cars, but have never delved into any body work. Honestly, there's a reason body shops charge a hefty premium for the work they do, and using this kit showed me exactly why. There is a lot in this kit, and it is quite a bit overwhelming at first glance. Even now, there are some pieces I am not sure what to do with, but everything in this kit worked that I tested. Note that this review is by someone that has never done any body work, and is a home do it yourselfer with it.The first thing I did after receiving the kit and laying it out on my garage floor was run to my computer and start watching YouTube videos. Every piece has a purpose and after 2 hours worth of several videos I have only scratched the surface. I am at about a 60% success rate for popping larger dents from a vehicle after using the kit for a bit. It absolutely takes some practice, and it is not the kits fault, it is the skill set needed to use it. The kits function is easy overall, it's just the person using it, and the understanding of how to use it.I don't plan on using this in a professional capacity, and only wanted it for home use. $110 for this kit is a LOT cheaper than going to a body shop and spending hundreds to thousands to repair dents. I plan on also trying this on other things around such as the large dent in my dryer, and the dent in the side of my old shed. With some practice, and continued research, I think this kit will save a LOT of money in the long run.If you are willing to do some research and watch some video's online, this kit can save you a lot of money, and fix random dents in everyday metal items. With some practice, you could have a little bit of a side hustle fixing dents in friends cars that they don't want to claim on insurance which could possibly raise their insurance or have to pay a high deductible.

Lots of parts, limited instructions
I get the idea of how this works -- you temporarily glue a plastic piece to the dent, then pull on it to pull the dent out flat. That's the theory. In practice, it's a bit more difficult. My first attempt (not pictured) was to pull out a small dent on our stainless steel fridge door. It worked pretty well, actually... there's just a little ripple left.So I felt confident to try it on my car. There are a couple small dents with no paint damage and then one large scratch that I tried before to fix but still had some dents in it. First was the small dent. I cleaned both the plastic tab, the dent and the glue stick with rubbing alcohol first, as instructed. Then glued the tab to the center of the dent, letting it cool for about 3 minutes. Then I used the pictured pulling tool to pull up on the tab. I ended up actually pulling the tab right off the car because you can't really tell if the dent is gone or not with the tab on it. So, now I had the glue still stuck to the car. The instructions say to spray with alcohol and scrape it off with the included plastic scraper. It takes a lot of force and working the scraper, but it can be done - which leaves a thin layer of the glue still on the car. That glue is really sticky! Then I tried the little heater/scraper tool that's included. It heated up the glue enough to easily scrape it away... but STILL left a very thin layer stuck to the car. At that point, it takes a lot of spraying with alcohol and scraping to get the rest of the glue off the surface. This was the most difficult part of the process... a LOT of scraping and working on getting the glue off. I tried rubbing compound on it, but that didn't completely remove the glue, but did remove some of the clear coat around it. It would be really nice if there was a solvent that actually dissolves the glue without harming the paint. But when all the glue was finally off, it did remove most of the dent.... just a small ripple was left. I then did the same with the scratch and after several times of gluing the tab and pulling on different parts of the scratch, it does look much better. The hot glue did remove the touch up paint that I had done before, which was OK since I wanted to do that again anyway. The takeaway is to carefully choose a tab that just fits over the whole dent. If you go too small, it will make a hump in the middle of the dent. If you go too big, it will pull on the surrounding flat metal and not get the dent flat. Secondly, the glue is very difficult to remove completely. Lastly, the instructions are VERY basic -- just how to put the glue on the tab and how to use the various pullers. For example, what is the difference between the black and the clear glue sticks and when do you use each? How do you choose which puller to use? What is the inflatable air bag for? Why doesn't everything fit in the storage bag? And you really need instruction and practice on how to use the various tools to work the metal itself to get it flat again. In the right hands with enough experience, I think this kit has most everything you need to straighten dented thin sheet metal.

So the included storage bag will not fit everything that came with the kit. That is a bit frustrating since you have to deal with what you are going to do with the stray pieces that will not fit in the bag which is about half of the pieces. I ended up using another bag to put everything in so I could keep the kit together. That aside, the tool seems solid and does the job. It is a relatively complete tool and kit for removing your basic dents. My kit did not come with any instructions but I have had experience with these types of kits before. So I had an understanding of how it operates. There were items in the kit that I was not sure why they were there, like the Air Wedge.I appreciate you taking the time to read this. All in all, this kit is pretty complete and it is effective on smaller dents that do not require body work. I definitely recommend watching some online videos if you are not familiar with this process before to attempt DIY dent removal. Hope this information was helpful. [4 Stars]
