Old El Paso Tortilla Pockets Dinner Kit, 12.4 oz

Great for making breakfast burritos. Fill with whatever you prefer. Eggs,, sausage and cheese are my fav. Remove from the refrigerator, wrap in foil and place in the toaster oven for 20 minutes or so. I top with picante sauce. They are on the small side, but taste so much better than any commercial frozen burrito I’ve tried.

Couple seconds and one pocket good to go. Wrapped in a damp paper towel to heat. The shell is on the thicker side but isn’t chewy. Careful not to microwave it too long otherwise the edges will get really hard to bite. Can be used for not only Mexican ingredients but a combination of salads with dressings. Size is small, two shells if you’re a light eater.

I gave this product a five star rating because the quality was good, the shipping was fast, and the description is accurate. I won’t order this again, only due to my personal preferences. The pocket was extremely thick for my liking. It was difficult to spread open and did not have much room for filling of any sort. The bites seemed to just be all bread. Once opened, the pieces got very hard and crumbly, even after correct storage. Again, I’m not knocking the product or Amazon’s quality of service, just an honest review!

Small tasty perfect for breakfast or any meal. Fill with anything for a quick bite. Egg, tuna, pbj. Etc. filling.

Following directions for Microwaving and the texture was software and pliable. I scrambled a couple eggs with garlic powder, salt and added to sauteed thinly pre-sliced ham cut into strips that I cross cut, shredded cheese, diced bell pepper and dried French fried onions until done and after warming two pockets filled them with the scrambled egg mixture. Pockets are great for a small entree or using 2-3 per person with bigger appetites for a meal. Due to diet restrictions my only alternative is plain white bread, but I prefer these to sandwich bread options.Increased my subscribe from 2ea every 6 weeks to 3 ea every one month. I am looking forward to trying other fillings for variety. Perfect for meal preparation for one.
