These worked great on my 04 F150. I've only had them on for a week but they are super strong. They help pop the hood up with ease and hold it in place.

Ford f-150 hood, 2007, kept falling down at random times until I replaced them with these. I feel comfortable with being under the hood again.

This gas hood shock exceeded my expectations in replacing my stock shocks I had one go out and decided to replace both I had my hood propped up part way with a stick while I was installing these and believe it or not just one of them was strong enough to hold my hood open all the way while installed the second shock

Easy install and perfect fit. Changing the hood struts on my truck took less than 15 minutes.

Ford f.-150 FX4 2006Is easy to install. Its not original Part but a chinese part, so beware if you are fan o original ones.I cannot speak for how much is gonna last, I just installed last week. I suppose if last 1 year i can say it is worth the price despite the country of origin.But you can feel how new it is the first time you use it.The price is very decent.
