Best water bottle ever
This is my second purchase only because I love it so much I wanted to get another just to have it. Stays hot for long time. Well made quality bag. Couldn’t ask for a better bag. I actually use slightly boil hot water mixed with little hot tap water and it takes well. However I would caution doing this it’s very hot and can burn if not used properly. Highly recommend you follow their instructions. I just love a really hot bag my tap water isn’t hot enough for me 😊.

My warm blue pillow
I have TMJ which causes pain in my face periodically. This water bottle is the perfect size to hold or lay my face on to help relieve my discomfort. It has a smooth side and a thicker side with ridges. It states to cover water bottle with bag or cloth when using, but I prefer to use it without cloth because it doesn't get hot enough to burn. I fill the bottle half full of hot tap water, screw in the plug tightly, and lay my head on the smooth side of the bag. I've actually fallen asleep a few times as it feels like a warm pillow against my aching jaw. It is the perfect size for my lower back as well. It looks and feels well made and I've not had any leakage from the plastic plug. It works perfect for me.Update July 14, 2017:I'm still very happy with this purchase. It has saved me from much discomfort over the past year and it's still holding up very well.

Great alternative to an electric blanket!
I bought these as an alternative to an electric blanket. I used to have a blanket but when it malfunctioned and I was doing research to purchase a new one, I realized it was a safety risk (many of the reviews were citing issues with the blanket I had just disposed of). I missed my toasty warm bed terribly. I am happy to say that two of these bottles have done the trick. I purchased a three more so the rest of the family could enjoy a toasty bed as well. The bottles are sturdy, seal tightly and retain heat well (the water is still warm when I dump it the following evening) and the warmth is just right, not too intense. The fleece cover is comfy and stays in place. My only complaint is how much the price fluctuated, which I'm not sure has much to do with the product. I originally put these on my Wish List and they were around $15, but after the holidays purchased them myself and noticed the price had dropped to around $10. I understand some fluctuation, but that's a significant percentage.

Made of PVC, which is not so heat-resistant nor cold-resistant
Just received it yesterday.Did not experience leaking what so ever; I added boiling water (there's marking on the bottle says "DO NOT ADD BOILING WATER") to it before went to bed, and it was still comfortable and feels lukewarm when I was awake. It kinda provides 3 levels of temperature control, the smooth side is hottest, the textured side is less hot, and then you can put on the fleece cover which make it feels lukewarm. It was made of PVC, I was being told that "Silicone products are more cold-resistant and more heat-resistant than PVC products", but silicone is also more expensive than PVC.I might give it less star if it turns out not durable in the end. At that point, I'll probably going to find an alternative product which made of silicone rubber.

I use the He k out of these.
I use them as ice packs for my back. I just fill them about 2/3 with water and put in the freezer. I’m addicted to them. Better than drugs, I suppose you could use them on other parts of your body. So far so good. They’ve held up well. It’s a good size to put on your back. Highly recommend

Heat Therapy Mostly
The product description mentioned that it cold be used for cold therapy as well, which was a factor in my buying decision. While hot water - short of boiling - may be poured into the bottle, the slotted shape of the (literal) bottleneck prevents any ice (cold water, yes/ice no) to be placed inside this bottle. I will need to search for an ice bag as well.Inside the provided bag, the textured side seems to prevent much heat transfer. The smooth side allows heat to be transformed to the skin while being protected by the provided cloth bag. The stopper seemed secure enough and did not leak when turned upside down and shaken.

Good size - DO NOT heat in microwave (edited)
Work great for aches and pains. I heat mine in a microwave on high for around 2 minutes or so. The outer cloth keeps the hot bag from direct contact from the skin which is safer than direct contact. I don't fill it to maximum capacity to give space from the water to expand a bit. I don't change the water. I just store it with the water in it.EDITED 3/27/16 **** Microwave turns out to be a really bad idea. I heated the bottle this morning and the fleece cover got so hot it melted a hole through the bottle near the neck. I'll be going back to a rubber bottle. I used the microwave to heat a rubber bottle for over 10 years.
