AmazingE EV Charging Station SAE-J1772 Wall-Mount Connector Holster

This seems like a very nice item. I have installed it outdoors next to the little weatherproof box I made for the charger. (No garage!) It seems a little bigger than I expected, but it's very easy to click in the charger handle. The interior receiver for the charger plug is just a round cylinder. I am hoping this will protect the plug from the weather and insects, so I'm a little wary some spiders may decide this is the perfect spot for a web! But only time will tell and this unit makes my setup look a little more finished off. It arived *very* quick and was carefully packed.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Installed outdoors in front of my garage, and this thing keeps the weather out. It also keeps the cable closer to the wall, and it’s very easy to holster and remove. If it lasts me 3 years, I will upgrade to 5 stars. I think it will. It doesn’t feel cheap at all, but also isn’t what I would call “robust.” For now, I definitely recommend.

This appears to be the same J1172 holster sold by Clipper Creek, but without the shipping charges. Look closely at the pictures of all the other J1772 holsters and they all appear to have the same flaw - they don't actually protect your plug from rain, sleet, ice, snow, dirt, etc. This holster protects the connectors and the entire business area of the J1772 plug from everything.

Most wall mount holsters cause the cable to stick straight out, so it's nice to find one that keeps cable against the wall. It's so simple too. You never need to look in to guide the connector to it's socket. It seems to easily find it's home every time. There's never a twisting or fiddling to make sure it clicks home... it just works. Very happy.

The handle of the charger engages and disengages very easily, without having to be super precise in your aim.Since the handle also mounts parallel to the wall, it saves space in the garage, so it's not jutting out from the wall.

This is what you are looking for. It's made of hard plastic that is thick and strong. The charger (Ford Fusion Energi) fits perfectly, and the holster holds it in place firmly. The holster angles off the wall slightly so that there is plenty of room to insert and remove your charger. Attaches to the wall with two long screws (provided).I highly recommend it.

Works great coupled with the J1772 connector on my  Siemens VersiCharge , I'm able to keep the connector right next to my vehicle and keep it protected from the elements. Extremely heavy duty plastic, I was expected a weaker more pliable material, but this is tremendously thick and rock solid. Would highly recommend to anyone needing to mount their J1772 connector, indoors or out!

This holster is just the thing for keeping the end of your electic vehicle charger cord organized when it isn’t charging the car.
