This da-20 pattern moves 400 liters of water per minute into a cascading, trumpet-like spray, approximately 6 ½ feet high by 22 feet wide. This flow rate does a fantastic job of moving algae off the surface, keeping the water clean and clear, and keeping pesky insects away, all while adding a lot of oxygen to the pond. Adding oxygen does wonders for your fish, and is the key component in quickly breaking down rotting matter at the bottom of your pond. As an added benefit, more oxygen means less muck over time. The DA-20 is manufactured using a stainless steel, oil-free submersible motor, making it the most environmentally friendly water aerator on the market. You won't have to add or change oil, there is no maintenance needed, and there is no control box required. The da-20 is also easy to set up, requiring just two anchor ropes and weights or a stroller. We've built the DA-20 to be left in the water all year long. There's no need to remove it in the fall, clean and store it in winter, or reinstall in the spring. Just close the da-20, let it freeze on, and forget about it until spring thaw. Freezing conditions do no harm to the da-20, even during the most severe winter. This unit comes with 70 feet of submersible, 12-Gauge Power Cord. This is a 230 V system. 115 V is available. Longer lengths are also available, and special orders are never a problem.
